Retroactive was started in early 2007 by Ad and Will who had always wanted to do their own Oldskool night due to being sick of going to events and hearing the same music in every set.The 1st event took place in a basement club in Luton on Sat 3rd February 2007 which later saw them move onto The Well Music Venue in Luton for 3 events. Then relocating to Bedford when this venue abruptly shut down with no prior warning. Slowly building up a following in the local area using the best local DJ's and guests from back in the day.

They have reached into their 2nd year of doing regular events in both Luton and Bedford featuring guests such as Glenn Aston, DJ Snypa, Hardcore Massive, DJ Skie amongst others and even more special guests lined up for this year.

Taking you back to the good old days of 90-95. For those of you who used reach Equinox @ Milwaukees on the A6, The Ministry and Riviera Lights in Bedford, The Grid in Luton, ESP and Psychosis in Northampton as well as all the big raves such as Dreamscape and Helter Skelter at the Sanctuary in Milton Keynes - and not forgetting all those wicked outdoor raves from the oldskool era such as Universe, Fantazia, Perception etc. If you remember any of these places then why not come down. If you weren't there, come down and get yourself acquainted with the original oldskool vibe! We take it back to the original raving ethos - wear what you want, dance how you like, be yourself and have a good time!

At Retroactive you will get a true taste of the music from that era rather than the same old cheesy rubbish people try to pass off as "Oldskool". Come and experience the real deal in a safe, fun and friendly atmosphere just how it was!
