Here's some opinions from my chiptune friends =D:
Alex Mauer says:
"Retroboy's music is focused on melody rather than aggressive drums/rhythm.
With creative use of game-like sound fx as instruments within his songs,
he is developing his own style of chiptunes.
Coloriffic says:
"Timo's music is soft chiptune that's impossible to tire of. Symptoms of listening may include a warm sensation in the chest, thoughts of bright pixelated landscapes, and involuntary movement of the head and feet. There is no known cure. Hopefully, there will never be one either."
Mr. Casio says:
"As an up-and-coming chiptuneartist,
Retroboy Timo has immediately made a big impression with his beautiful,
nostalgic sounds, that conjures up images of far away castles,
perilous dungeons and beautiful princesses waiting to be saved by a horny italian with a big moustache.
Although, like most of us, he still has quite a bit to learn, he is getting better and better by the minute,
so you'd better watch out for this guy!
Keep up the good work, man!"
The 8bit soldier says:
"Retroboy rocks. I've been chilling on his new album all day long.
The melodies are catchy and the songs inspire me to create some more music myself!
I think he is probably one of the best chiptune artists I know, because he really has some of the most inspiring chiptune synth parts I have heard.
I'm looking forward to play with this guy!"
Nordloef says:
"I like this! Cute melodies and catchy songs! :D"
