The weeks are flying by again and I’ve just had a top weekend. Retro at Space was very busy with Retro heads a plenty from all parts of the North of England spreading love on the dancefloor and there is ALWAYS an intimate atmosphere in this great club. I have to say though that I’m glad I made the decision to not play THIS next weekend, I’m overly busy in the office over the next couple of weeks making sure that our birthday month in November goes off as smoothly as possible, especially at the flagship event at Trees. So this weekend it’s a no club zone for moi.
Tickets for Retro @ Trees are now available through the normal outlets and via Skiddle.com, my advice is to purchase a ticket because numbers are limited on the night due to the fact that the Alexander Suite is a no go area due to a private function. Please remember that we are restricting ALL the outlets to a maximum £1 booking fee. Early bird tickets have now sold out. Please may I also remind you that when you purchase a ticket from an outlet you will automatically be handed your FREE ticket for the big Retro celebrates the New Year event on Saturday the 2nd of January 2010. If you buy a ticket online OR pay on the door on the night you will also be handed a free ticket at the clubs reception desk, this way everyone will receive their golden ticket for this event.
As you enter the club on the 20th birthday celebrations you will receive a voucher which entitles you to a another freebie, a double pack CD live recording featuring myself and Ben Taylor recorded from our Ibiza/Majorca reunion party earlier this month, you can hand this into the Retro Shop based in the reception area on your way out, this alongside INNER CITY playing a full live set makes this event a must for every Retro lover out there!
New Years Eve 2009/2010
We are proud to announce that this year Retro will hold for the first time its NYE bash at the SYNDICATE in Blackpool with myself, Ricky Isted and Ben Taylor. Making this event a bumper package will include Godskitchen featuring Judge Jules, Matt Hardwick, John Askew, Activa, Richard Turner and Jason Fubar. Early bird tickets are now on sale via blackpool.thesyndicate.com at ONLY £10 sqids, sounds like bargain of the year to me, obviously the ticket price will increase after the early birds sellout (500 I think) but only up to £15/20, more on the door. My advice is to grab them at this stage while you can. Should be a blast though!
