For the past several months, Retro Factor has been showing
audiences exactly what it is to be passionate about music The 3 unique
sounds of Jeff Fraser (Essex, MA), Michael Troy (Scituate, MA), and Craig
Tramack (Nashua, NH) come together to form Retro Factor and bring the sounds of
the 60's, 70's, and 80's to life.
Hailing from Essex, MA, Jeff Fraser has been involved in
music since the young age of 12 years old. After attending Berklee, Jeff toured
with his first rock band, Slyboyz. Since then Fraser has played thousands
of shows (private shows, bars, festivals, etc) with several groups.
Currently, Jeff can be found on Friday nights with duo Me and Julio and
the four piece band Spike The Punch in Boston, MA. Jeff also plays
functions all around New England with the wedding band Men in Black. When asked
about Retro Factor, Jeff comments "This band is different... it's the one I
really want to concentrate on... there is just so much talent here."
Also playing in Men in Black is Keyboardist Michael Troy.
Michael has also been playing music for the majority of his life. In the past,
Troy has been a part of projects such as the popular duo Beloved few, and has
also worked as a musical director for Whoopi Goldberg. Troy is currently
doing duo shows with Craig Tramack, performing at weddings, and sometimes
playing solo behind a baby grand.
When he isn't playing with Retro Factor, Craig Tramack is
banging on his drum all day for other groups as well. Tramack performs as
a duo with Michael Troy, plays drums for the wedding band Intrigue and also
performs on Sundays in Boston with the band Sweep The Leg.
If you're looking for a band that is playing those lost
45's and playing them well, then look no further than Retro Factor! The
band is currently playing every Thursday at Tequilas in Danvers, MA.
