RETROFIN; think Ollie Reed in Aviators dipping his tattooed penis into your pint, with classic flick 'Invasion of the Bodysnatchers' projected onto a backdrop of crumbling Victorian brickwork, accompanied by rock n roll guitars, Jager fuelled vox and a dream to one day own a midget bar in Thailand... Now throw a few shades of Audioslave or Foo Fighters and you had Retrofin. Retrofin shared the stage with the likes of Gallows, Linchpin, Slaves To Gravity, Heaven's Basement, InME, Hell is for Heroes, Belisha, The Glitterati, all girl rockers Mcqueen and Chris Cornell even wore their T-shirt.
The band's sound was described as "Audioslave meets Velvet Revolver; with strong vocals and a confident stage performance" and "the best kind of rock music, like drinking redbull with espresso chasers"...
Drummer Dave Cawthorne was picked by EA Sports to endorse their XBOX360 game 'Rock Band'.
