About me: I write. Therefore I am. Well, even if I'm not writing, I'm still something, but I feel better when I write. I have published poetry and short stories, once worked as the poetry editor of a national literary magazine, and used to write a column for a Railroad National Historical Society. I am working on a full-length poetry manuscript.
I'm also working on a novel titled "Faster" and am about 200 pages into it. It's a love story. Or maybe it's about sin and redemption. Or maybe it's about hope and fulfilling your dreams, no matter what life tosses at you. Or maybe it's about acceptance, letting go, and moving on. Or maybe it's a story of a man looking for a new beginning after too many endings... I'll let you know when I figure it out...
I no longer own Xenith Booksellers. I sold the bookstore and now have nights and weekends free to spend with my kids, have more writing time, and hopefully some other fun stuff. Always open to ideas...
