I make electronic/dreampop/drone/growlbient music, most of you won't like it or even listen to it and yet it never ceases to amaze me how many requests I get from 'nu-metal' bands and singer songwriters who want me to be their friend - surely these people must just trawl thru this place and click 'add' at random without even thinking about it.....I should also point out that I don't like this whole myspace/facebook/bebo culture that seems to be taking hold of the civilised (lol) world. but needs must when the devil drives and it would appear that you need to have at a presence on least one of the aformentioned peices of shit to be relevant in todays fast changing world - plus you never know, somebody might actually buy some of my stuff (of need and belonging is a good place to start - hint, hint)..... If you don't want to spend any cash (and who can blame you in todays credit crunch crisis) you can either steal it from some p2p network as I would probably do or go to ..Phantom Channel.. and get some for free (along with some other great free music).... Didnt' we all look smashing in red?.... Where next Columbus?...... Please note that there's a lot of sarcasm in the above statment - except the bit about 'nu metal' and singer songwriters, that bit was serious.

Big Black, Spacemen3, Loop, Head of David, Godflesh, Napalm Death, Crass, Skullflower, Burning Witch, Earth, Sleep, Les Rallizes Denudes, Cluster, Neu! & Can would be a good place to start - whilst i find Eno's early work (Warm Jets period) excellent, most of his ambient stuff leaves me cold (appart from An Ending (Ascent) which is one of the best bits of music ever written). But if you make electronic music you need to mention him (it's the law) and Aphex Twin (he's just shite tho).
