Returner was formed in 2005 by drummer Jon Kois. The vision he had was to form a band that had no boundaries. The progressive elements of bands like Death and Atheist, with the power of bands like Overkill and Slayer. The band released the Dealing with this Death EP in 2006. A concept album about a boy trying to find redemption from a life of forced vampire killing. After a series of live shows and several line up changes, the band went into the studio to record Wretched Machine. A record of extended tracks, and crushing brutality.
Now in 2009, with the line up of Joe B. on bass and Paul Herzog (ex Total Fucking Destruction ) on vocals and guitar. The band plans to hit the stage in support of Wretched Machine.
