Return to aljustrel came to be in 2005 when Simon Elvin, Rory Holl, and Luke Smith began writing material and recording demos. After completing a demo album Return to aljustrel stopped writing as commitments to other bands took over, but in autumn 2008 the band began practicing as a live act for the first time. The band subsequently began re-recording some of the old demos, and in May 2009 an album was complete. The album is titled 'Life in film'. Live gigs coming soon!!
