"...an excellent recording. For those who complain about the sameness of music today, buying Colour Me Blue would serve as a great opportunity to move out of the musical comfort zone. Highly recommended."

"It's divine. The vocals are rich and smooth, like sucking up melted Galaxy chocolate through a straw made of gold. In effect, we're talking about a real soul find..."

"'Colour Me Blue' is a smooth, finely crafted pop album - pick any superlative you like, they'll likely suit this album. My favourite is magical and hypnotic..."

"...a wonderful piece of dreamy, laid-back pop. Reuben's Thread provides the slow-paced, atmospheric groove, while RachaelRachael adds her deep and soulful vocals to the mix - she keeps it smooth and subtle, letting her voice woo us with gentle skill. Very nice."

Rachael offsets the icy fragility with an earthy passion that's part Nina Simone, part Joni Mitchell - nine tracks of bleak, beautiful bigness..."

"The music flows, with guitar arpeggios lilting you to sleep, soothing and atmospheric, layers and textures of music with accomplished arrangements and musicianship..."
