Music is one of my passions. I love almost all of it. Cannot write it, but I enjoy it. I sing in my church choir. I have before - and hope to again - review music for publication. Musicians are some of my favorite people.Movies
I think Grosse Point Blank was one of the most perfect movies ever made. Romantic comedy for chicks with a body count for guys and humor all around. I mean, come on - Dan Ackroyd as an assassin? What's not to love?Other than that... I'm more into adventure genres than chick genres. I have a secret fascination with animation...
And you'd be amazed by the movies I have not seen.

I like well put together stuff. Great writing, great cast. Doesn't always matter the genre as long as it can engage me. It gets harder and harder to engage me.Books
You'd be amazed by the books I have not read and the movies I have not seen considering the industries I'm involved in. I read a lot of obscure genre authors that I've met or have been recommended to me along the way.Heroes
There are a lot of people I admire, but I don't know if I'd call them my "heroes". I admire people for a lot of reasons - for their humanitarian works, for bravery in the face of adversity, strength of character, their determination for success in the face of adversity.My mom, for proving that once you set your mind to something, it can be acheived - no matter what other people say or how old you are when you make the decision. And that major, radical change CAN be accomplished with the right mind set. And for giving me the permission and encouragement and support to follow my dreams no matter how difficult because that's what I have to do.

About me:
I'm a freelance writer. I'm a natural red-head originally from Missouri. That means I'm stubborn, opinionated, and occasionally hot-tempered. I try to control all of that.I've been told that when I'm passionate about something I am committed to that thing, and that's pretty accurate. I'm all those wonderful adjectives applied to Scouting and dogs. That's not altogether a bad thing.
I'm a born promoter, but I find it easier to promote other people and things than myself, so these things are tough. If you want to know more... ask.
There's one more thing - I'm very involved in my church. Sing in the choir. The whole nine yards. Faith is very important to me. FYI.

Interesting people with interesting things to say. Writers, artists, musicians, and accountants. Anyone who has a story...Since I've gotten married in July, I'm no longer looking for that someone special, I've found him -- and his little dog too!
