Hakkımda:
Husband, father, preacher, politician and piano tinkler. Cleve Gordon Freckleton-born 25th March 1963, London, England. One of 5 children born to Isaiah and Dorothy Freckleton.My early memories of home include listening to The Archers and Just A Minute on radio (no telly in the house back then). My dads first accident in a Ford Anglia, Billy Smarts Circus, Chinese Takeaway, my brothers piano lessons and most of all church and the Sunday singing sessions between church services.
My first trip abroad was an emigration to Aenon Town, Clarendon in Jamaica, the country of my parents origin. Landed in Jamaica on 1st July 1973 and went on to live there till 1976. I attented Aenon Town All Age School and went on to gain a scholarship to Grammar School in Brownstown. Best memories of Jamaica- playing cricket with mum and dad in the yard with grapefruit and oranges that had ripened and fallen off the tree, playing guitar and piano in church, going to Dunns River Falls, meeting my maternal grandad before he passed, riding a mule, my first girlfriend (I was only 11) Daphne Thompson and coming twelvth in a national spelling bee competition.
Came back to England and attended Earl Cowper Middle School and then The City Of Leeds High School. I can still remember playing in goal against Foxwood School and coming up againt Terry Connor the former Leeds and Arsenal player. Needless to say he helped himself to a hatful of goals. I was rubbish to say the least but then I was a bit of a roly poly boy.
WORK
Since leaving school and attending Park Lane College, I have worked for the following employers;
Leeds City Council (twice), W.H.Smith, Hammersmith Borough Council, Royal Mail, Whitbreads and Mansfield Beers. My worst job was working in Cross Green market for a wholesale butcher but my mum loved it as I brought home "the bacon" literally, every day. My best job, well it has to be what I am doing now, playing music.
NOW
Loving my life with my one and only true love Sarah and all my beautiful children. Really enjoy days out and getting home after gigs to chill.
