So you've managed to click your way here and you're obviously hungry to find out exactly what this "RevGen" thing is all about - either that or you're just bored and can't remember how you got here... For the former, and the especially curious members of the latter, it's time to pose a question - "What is RevGen?"
The long answer is - no matter what sort of pretty box you wish to assemble, no matter what kind of talking points you manage to construct, you cannot quickly force RevGen inside. You cannot easily define RevGen because - well, because you just can't! You can begin by talking about our stage equipment and the tens of thousands who decide to show up every year, but we're a lot more than an impressive resume. We're more than a daunting list of sound and lighting statistics, more than a skeptic-flooring list of artists, more than a mere music festival. We ARE those things, but that's kind of like calling a lion a little orange kitty cat. There are a lot of shows out there, but the differentiating factor between us and them is that Revelation Generation actually does what every other major venue should do - RevGen cares about its people. That personal touch demonstrates itself everywhere from ticket pricing designed to help your budget rather than line our pockets, to the fact that you won't be standing around on skin-melting asphalt pretending to have a good time. We care enough to consistently go the extra mile in constructing artist line-ups that really reflect you and provide you with an atmosphere where the green fields, food smells, and core-resonating music manage to inundate you with the meaning of freedom. And seriously people - where else are you going to get a shot at interviewing Flyleaf or any of your other favorite bands?!?!
Not too long ago, we got tired of watching our friends wrap themselves around telephone poles. We began to hate the drug overdoses that claimed talented, potential-filled lives every year. We grew impatient with the substance-induced depression that seemed to descend all around us - so we decided to give something back to the region that smacked of life and freedom. That something became known as Revelation Generation, a festival that proves you can immerse yourself in the best music culture and experience real life without having to numb your brain first. That altruistic cause, and perhaps a nod from Heaven, have seen Revelation Generation quickly emerge as the premier music festival in the greater New York and greater Philadelphia areas. With some of the best music around, fields full of incredible people, Revelation Generation is evidence that when a venue cares - a lot of great things can happen!

Bethany Dillon will returning to the Nashville stage
This was by far the best RevGen out of all the 5. Thanks to all the staff and volunteers that help make this event such a sucess. God blessed us with the most beautiful weather ever.
I specially want to thank whoever came up with the idea of having an Urban stage. My son raps and everytime I take him to a festival they only have a few artists and he gets bored after awhile. However, he was in heaven on Sat (thanks for the snacks & water because he didnt want to move from the stage, lo).
I had a blast running from stage to stage, artist interview tents and meet & greet tent (for my baby taylor guitar, lol). Was exhausted by the end of the day but glad that I was part of such a wonderful event.
May God continue to bless you all. Looking forward to next year's event.
