HEAVY METAL is developed from the roots in blues-rock, psychedelic and classical , which combines unnaturally high-pitch vocals, thick, massive sound, characterized by highly amplified distortion, extended guitar solos, emphatic beats, and overall loudness. Heavy metal lyrics and performance styles are generally associated with fantastic imagery and masculine sexuality.

Based in CENTRAL MARKET Kuala Lumpur, this shocking extrovert band is set to bring back the world of 80's-style Heavy Metal in this millenium. Formed in 2005, REVENGE consists of five lads, Ayid in vocals, Apple and Buset in guitars, Arrul in Bass and Wak in drums.
They have produced an EP so far, entitled “Legends of Rock n Roll” (2007). Revenge has their trademark sound, as anyone who has seen them live, or heard their EP or mp3s will testify. Their sound might even be described as a testament to an old school Heavy Metal (Rock Kapak/Rock Kangkang) bands. Some critics have described the band as "New Wave Old British Heavy Metal", others as "Hard Rock", others as "Glam Rock".
Reviewers have made various comparisons as diverse as Loudness, Iron Maiden, KISS, Judas Priest, Black Tide right through to Guns and Roses, Motley Crue to some local acts such as Search, Wings, M.A.Y, Rusty Blade, Rockers, Sweet Charity and even SYJ..... In 2007, REVENGE was name as one of the best live performances and most exciting bands in ROTTW Music Poll. In the same year, they also won 1st Runner-Ups for Global Battle of Band Challenge (GBOB) Malaysia back in 2007.Throughout their journey, REVENGE has played alongside some of the biggest name in Malaysia’s rock scene, including SEARCH, Wings, MAY, Kristal, XPDC. SYJ, Def-Gab-C, Rosli Mohalim of Sweet Charity, Butterfingers, and became an opening act for one of world’s most influential hardcore band, Caliban. REVENGE also featured in the EIGHT (8) edition of undoubtedly Malaysia's biggest music festival, ROCK THE WORLD (2008).
The sweetest moment in REVENGE's journey so far was to made a special appearance for the band that inspires them to form the band, SEARCH, at their tour of 'KONSERT PENGHARGAAN SEARCH DI AWAN BIRU' (2009).
