   About The Reverend John DeLore
"The debut album from the Reverend John DeLore, "Ode to an American Urn" is a 13-song tour de force! The poet-like attention to lyrics is underscored by melodies and arrangements whose breadth of musical dynamics is rare in modern albums.

"Ode to an American Urn" moves deftly from bombastic, blues-tinged rock, to songs with big, sprawling spaces for the listener to explore, to songs filled with breath and intimacy. The expansiveness of the album works because "American Urn" also has what other modern albums lack: a common thread of intention connecting the songs, a common heart.

"Truly a collection of Indie-Rock-Americana gems. Repeat listens are encouraged!!!" --csl

Hey John! All is good here in the SLC. It's starting to get really cold though and I don't like that!! I have been listening to your album on my iPod a lot lately. Just can't get enough. Do you have another album coming out anytime soon? I am now writing about concerts, etc for Examiner.com and would love to write about your album on there and promote anys hows you have coming this way. I guess I can wait til Spring if I have to! How's everything else?

So no Boston of Providence shows? I saw they were under TBD or TBA but a few cool places in Boston, and Im not sure of the size ofa place your looking to play but theres The Sweetwater Cafe, Tommy Doyles, TT the Bears Place and The middle East Club to name a few of the places I go to for great live music. But its a shame your not coming to Boston I was really looking forward to it and at worse case scenario I was hoping I could atleast drive to Providence, Oh well maybe next time

You were in my dream the other night. In the dream Danielle handed me a picture that someone had drawn for me and it was your face. I smiled. Super strange.... Anyway, hope you are doing well.
