The Norwegian group „Reverend Lovejoy“ was founded in 1998 by Pål Angelskår and Jens Herman Ruge. On a journey through Mexico the two friends wrote their first songs. The following year the first album „Another Time, Another Place“ was released.
One year later, the second album Album „Polo is not the issue darling, champagne is!” followed. The group now had enlarged by three more members Harald Sommerstad, Herman Schultz and Brage Frost Urstad.
In 2003 the third and last album ”Way Past Sorry” was released. The same year the group split up.
Today, Pål Angelskår and Harald Sommerstad are playing in the famous Norwegian band “Minor Majority”. Jens Herman Ruge is working on his solo-debut.
