You must be a U.S. resident or have a valid passport or immigration card. The current fee for a license is $93.50.
If you have taken the State approved pre-maritial course the cost is $61.00
You must have vaild ID: Drivers License, State ID, Military ID or Passport.
You must have a valid social security card.
There is a 3 day waiting period for Florida residents.
(The waiting period is waived if you have taken the pre-maritial preparation course)
There is no waiting period for non-Florida residents with proper ID.
A marriage license is only valid for 60 days. Your marriage license is valid anywhere in the State of Florida.

About me: Reverend Marlo Denning, as she has become Affectionately known, is an Ordained Nondenominational Interfaith Minister. The Reverend works closely with the Bride and Groom in reference with there own special ceremony. In addition to the usual venues, Reverend Marlo will perform wedding ceremonies on the beach , in the park or at a private residence.

Thank you so much for helping us through a completely stressful time!! The unexpected move to Florida was not one we anticipated, yet was a great one! Although we cancelled our wedding in Pennsylvania due to the geographical difficulties, we were still able to have such a wonderful wedding. We really couldn't have done it without your help.
As if moving from Pennsylvania to Florida wasn't enough, we had to cancel our wedding in PA, and on short noticed planned a wedding on the beach without family and friends. We sacrificed our 200+ wedding in PA for our quiet, quaint wedding on the beach, when all the sudden Flagler and Volusia County suddenly got hit with the "unnamed" rain storm! UGH! What else could have gone wrong? We had over a foot of water in our front yard, and it was still raining. All the while our wedding was supposed to be held on the beach that evening. We were in a panic when we called you. We had no other place to go. While in the midst of doing the wedding errands for the day, we stopped at Ormond Memorial Gardens. The wonderful staff there helped us by allowing to have our wedding there! One more problem......we planned with you our wedding time of 7pm. The Ormond Memorial Gardens offered their services, but they closed at 4:30pm! OH MY GOSH! It was still pouring and we called you. You had other weddings that day and told me that you will do whatever we wanted after 2pm!!! You changed you schedule for us just to accommodate our special day! You truly cared with heart felt emotions that no matter what we were going through, you were going to be apart of making our wedding day special! The photographer changed his plans, we found the place provided by the wonderful staff at the Ormond Memorial Gardens, and.............of course, Reverend Marlo pulled it all together for us! We couldn't be more thankful. You showed empathy, compassion
Thank you so much for all of your help in getting Zach and I ready for our wedding day! We couldn't have been happier with choosing you. We were so thankful that you made your self available on such a short notice and on such a busy Memorial Day weekend. You made sure that we had everything we needed and were all set and ready to go. Oh and a SPECIAL thanks for not getting aggervated with me when I showed up to meet you and our vows were a MESS haha. You were very helpful and made sure we knew what we wanted in what we were saying to each other. All of my friends and family had nothing but great things to say about you! and I'll never forget what zach said to me on the way home from the ceremony, " I'm really happy with reverend Marlo, you could tell that she actually cared , she wanted to be there and not just because she HAD to. She was very genuine and cared about making our day great." so thank you again and I will recommend you to everyone I know, you made getting married stress free! that is truly an accomplishment in itself.

Hey Reverend Marlo!
We could not have picked anyone better to marry us, Reverend Marlo was so kind, caring, and was there for us when we had any questions about our big day. She even gave us vows to chose from, which I took parts of three different ones to make vows that we thought were perfect for us and she did not even have a problem with it! When the big day came she was there giving us emotional support and even helped me with my dress while the photographer was taking pictures before the ceremony. When the ceremony began everyone was tearing up and so was Reverend Marlo which said something about her, that she truly cared about us joinging together as one, just like our family did during those special moments. She is not just an officiant that performes the ceremony with no emotions, she is someone that truly cares about the bride and groom.
Hi sweetie, we miss you too, can't wait til we get to see you again, hopefully it won't be another 20+ yrs. Thank you for being here for the wedding. Love you, Aunteeeeeee Sarah

Dear Reverend Marlo, Let me begin by apologizing for how long this has taken me to write you! I have been pretty busy lately but trust me, I have not forgotten about you! I totally appreciate your services and am 110% satisfied with them. You were prepared and always waiting for us, haha. Everything went as smooth as they could possibly go. Thanks for fanning me down during the intense heat and the moments that were to follow. I'm glad that you enjoyed doing our ceremony.
