About me:

Reverend P is the Resident Dj of Animal House, and Motown Party at Djoon Paris. He is also the founder of Animal House record label, with his partner Alex Finkin. Based in Paris and NYC, Reverend P is feeling the crowd energy. Mostly influenced by black music, ranging from jazz to house, his sets are energetic, sensual and soulful. He began with his party KEEP THE GROOVE (KTG) back in 1992, one of the first Hip Hop and Acid Jazz Party to rock Paris in the trendiest clubs of witch Le Palace, Les Bains Douches, & le What's Up. 1998 was a crucial year for Reverend P and his friends DJ Fudge (Trouble Men) and Greg Gautier (Cheers), he starts a House residency at l'Opus Cafe, and creates SUNnyDAY a tribute to body & Soul the party quickly became the place to be at Claude Challe's Nirvana. With guests as Fudge, Bruno Banner, Greg Gautier, Mike L. and live musicians. In 2002, he also became the Resident of the official Motown Party at Bus Palladium and Stax weekly at le Reservoir. He meets Alex Finkin, very talented compositor and musician, and they start a long collaboration in production and event planning. He launches SUNnyDay in NYC at the Pink Elephant and Avalon, sharing the scene with Go Kiryu, Phil D, Jephte Guillaume & Fudge. Then comes Animal House, live & mix house Party, with Dj Fudge, Reverend P, and highly gifted performers Alex Finkin (keyz & guitars), Nadir Simon (Alto Saxophone and flute), Jocelyn Mathieu (Singer), and Dionysos (MC). Animal House at Djoon is recognized by the crowd and many reviews as the best party in town mixing live music and DJ sets, and is invited to rock NYC at the legendary Shelter, Sapphire, Nublu, Pink Elephant., 105..., with guests as Stimulus, Kervyn Mark, Go Kyriu, E Man, Norman Jay, Benjamin Deffe, Chris Rob. Since 2005, Alex Finkin & Reverend P released some highly supported trax on Funk La Planet, Tejal, Tea Party Blockheadz, Stalwart, and now Animal House, and forthcoming remixes on Shelter They already have been remixed by Fudge, Ian Friday, Jerome Sydenham, Rork, Kiko Navarro, Jon Cutler. On Push FM, Reverend P delivers a weekly show, sometimes alone, sometimes with the whole Animal House crew.
