I am a London based DJ / Promoter / Writer / Artist Manager / Booking Agent / Music PR Type Person.
I used to run a promotions company called Furthur, which was fun and over the course of 6 years we put on over 200 clubnights and gigs ranging from cupboard sized parties to 1500+ capacity monster raves. When this stopped being fun I set up And Now Hear This, an artist booking agency and event management consultancy.
Away from this you can normally find me DJ'ing most weeks at various clubs in London. I am currently a resident at Be at Proud in Camden, The Last Days Of Disco in Shoreditch and I Love Acid at Ginglik in Shepherds Bush. If I'm not playing at one of these you'll often find me playing everything from disco to punk to electronica to hip-hop at venues such as Punk, Cargo, The Dogstar, Herbal and anywhere with a good soundsystem and friendly crowd.
For some reason I have also just set up a record label, Hot Pockets, with my fellow Slutty Fringer Tony Poland.
When not playing in clubs, I'll often quite sadly be found writing about them for people such as Slutty Fringe, LeCool and Kultureflash.
If any of the above makes you want to contact me, then drop me a line here.
Here's some flyers of places I'm playing at soon...
And here's the book that I had a part in writing (a pretty small part), it's great, go buy it.
Who I'd like to meet: wealthy buxom leather clad amazons. they'd form my elite private guard.
Thanks John, glad you liked the sounds. Help yourself to any of our tunes you like, they're all free download. Proud's an ace venue, saw Roots Manuva there a few months back.
Hope all's good with you. Haven't been to New X for ages, but I used to live in Lewisham. Still nice and dangerous?
Sisters of Mercy, oh dear! You know they toured the U.S with Public Enemy back in the day - that must've been an interesting crowd! "IN THE DOMINION!!"
