With bristling cynicism, surrealistic word-play, and a decidedly post-modern veneer couched in eclectic song arrangements, REVERSIBLE tears through rock's back pages to create a distinctive sound that is reflective, stylish, twisted, and captivating.
Born from a 2005 showcase at Hollywood's Key Club, REVERSIBLE quickly evolved as the combined efforts of McCutcheon, Mars and Sanchez began to coalesce during recording sessions for a solo project that McCutcheon was completing for Bad Habit Records with triple grammy nominated producer Brad Gilderman (X, Motley Crue, Tom Petty, Brian Wilson). In January of 2006, REVERSIBLE completed videos for two tracks from the Gilderman sessions, "All Night Long" and "Pleasure Pile" (available at thereversibles.com). In March they added Danny Aon on Guitar and have continued to hone thier sound and build their fan base in Hollywood landmark clubs such as The Whisky, The Knitting Factory, and others. REVERSIBLE is currently completing their debut CD, set for release in fall of 2006.
From the primitive, guitar-driven assault of "Rewind," to the angular, new wave musings of "Corduroy Voices," to the surf-tinged pop-punk of "All Night Long," REVERSIBLE exudes irony and passion, tantalizing the senses with an array of emotional depth, a whirlpool mixture of instrumental textures, and astute observations of the human condition molded into splashing pop melodies. The Reversibles currently have a song featured in Shakespeare's Richard III, staring David Carradine.
