Hi Pastor, showing love back! *smile* Enjoy your weekend? Have a blessed night! Good night & Sweet dreams... ~MUCH LOVE~ Until next time...tah...tah...*smile*
No, I don't...*smile* Good evening pastor, how was your weekend? Mine, you ask? LOL! Well it blessed me to the utmost!!! *smile* God bless! ~MUCH LOVE~ Until next time...tah...tah...
Hi, I'm back... LOL! I'm truly blessed to have you in my life Pastor... I just want to take this time to let you know I appreciate you! *smile*
It seems a lot of us are going through or have someone close to us going through... If not now.... you will.... There's a song that comes to mind... "Must Jesus bare the cross alone and all the world go free? NO! There's a cross for everyone & there's a cross for me..."
Psalms 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all....This is a blessed assurance!
Heres some encouragement... *smile*
We serve the God who designed the universe and set our world in motion. But those hands that hung the stars in the heavens also wiped away the tears of the widow and the leper. And they have/will wipe away your tears as well.
There has never been a time in the history of the world when there was not a rain cloud somewhere on the face of the earth. There may be blue skies for us occasionally, but the rain always comes. So, instead of looking for ways to escape problems....look for methods to face them head on. Remember trials come to make you strong....*smile*
Father, you are God and Creator, but we come to you as children coming to their father, as children who would ask there father to hold and comfort them, waiting & trusting in you for strength & wisdom....
As you stilled the storm on the Sea of Galilee, please still the storms that rage within our hearts? We know you will calm the whiling winds of fear and hurt that threaten out faith... Thank you Father for using these situations to draw us closer to you! *smile*
Well, Happy Black History month & Happy Belated Valentines Day Pastor... *smile* It's a month of love all the way round... well for me anyway, LOL!
There is no greater love than Jesus giving His life for us... so why not give you life back to Him, as an ultimate gesture of your love ... *smile*
Romans 12:1-21
God desires us to surrender every part of our lives to Him. Would you buy a house if you were only allowed to see one room? Would you purchase a car if you were only permitted to see the tail lights? Would you judge a book after only reading one paragraph? No, me neither... *smile*
Good judgement requires a broad picture. Not only is that true in purchasing houses, cars & book, it's true in living life... One failure doesn't make a person a failure; one achievement doesn't make a person a success.
The end of the matter is better than it's beginning... Be patient in afflictions... I know it easier said than done, but it can be done... *smile*
Life's mishaps and tragedies are only a page out of a great big book. We have to be slow bout drawing conclusions. We must reserve judging our life's storms until we know the whole story...
"Don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself" God is the Author of our story. And He had already written the final chapter...
As a safety net, memorize Romans 12:1-2 Whenever you feel tempted, repeat theses verses in your mind & by God's power plan NOT to sin...LOL!
~MUCH LOVE~ Until next time...tah...tah... *smile*
Alright Pastor, It's testomony time!!! I'll start it! LOL! First giving honor to God, who is worthy of ALL MY praise! I had not mention this to many people, cause God didn't lead me to. But after my surgery, My docotor told me I had cancer. Told me I was in the 3rd stage.... Sent me to a specialist, had a procedure done 2 Monday's ago to see just how far the cells had grown....The Specialist called me from her house that Friday morning and said "I know your a praying women, but I just don't understand this...Your report came back negative! She said I know what I saw..." But the test came back cancer free!!!! Glory to GOD!!!!!! Even if the situation was different, He's still faithfull & Just! I LOVE HIM!!! God IS still working miracles today! I wrote about this Scripture back in Sept. but it applies with this testimony...
Hebrews 11:1-40
These were examples of faith and obedience to God.
Faith is the belief that God is real and that He is good & and is true to His promises...
Matt. 5:3-11
God says that the more hopeless your circumstances, the more likely your salvation....LOL! aint' that good news, for those of us going through...LOL! The greater your cares, the more genuine your prayers.....The darker the room, the greater the need for light....
God's help is near and always available, but it is only given to those who seek it....
Faith is more that a belief in God. It is also a way of life. The examples in this scripture although imperfect, trusted God and gave their lives to Him...*smile*
God has never rejected a genuine gesture of faith....NEVER.....I know I can get a witness on that! LOL! Add your own testimony... *smile* Thank God for the prayers & faith of the righteous! Have a blessed week in the Lord and His promises...~MUCH LOVE~ Until next time...tah...tah...*smile*
hey my friend saw your profile and thinks you look hot! she is new to myspace but wants to chat with you on msn messenger her name on there is emily21gold@hotmail.com
I pray your Holiday's have been a blessing thus far *smile* We are in a season that some of us are celebrating the birth of our Father & others of us will be celebrating getting...
Luke 2:1-52 (Reading about Jesus birth) God's son became a person & lived with us for a while. During His life He was sad, happy, excited, and disappointed. God knows what life on earth is like... The name Immanuel is both comforting. Comforting because He has come to share the danger as well as the discomfort of our everyday lives. He desires to weep with us & to wipe away our tears. And what seems most bizarre, Jesus Christ, the Son God, longs to share in & to be the source of the laughter & the joy we all to rearely know. He makes His presents known to us daily. We realize, then that there can be no "ordinary" moments for the people who live their lives with Jesus. Jesus paid a tremendous price to be with us. The cross was the most obvious cost. We focus so much on the fact that Jesus died for us, we sometimes forget the He also lived for us and lives for us still. Imagine what it would be like sitting in heaven at the Father's side one moment & struggling to sleep in a manger the next... Imagine what it would be like to go from hearing praise of angles to suffering the ridicule of stupid men... & (women) *smile* The cost to Jesus is an indication of the incredible value of what He came to give us. And because no one will ever fully know what that cost Jesus, we can only begin to understand the incredible value of His gift to us.
During our celebrating & in our everyday lives, lets take a moments to reflect on what "Immanuel" (God with us) means to us... Make it a point to seek God in every little area our lives and see how many gifts He presents you with....*smile* JESUS PAID IT ALL, ALL TO HIM WE OWE! Oh taste and see that the Lord is good... ~MUCH LOVE~ Until next time...tah..tah... MERRY CHRISTmas! *smile*
Hey, I know my messages have been coming slower but that's because God has blessed me to get out of the house after 4 months of bed rest. Also He has blessed me by bringing more friends into myspace...LOL! But if I've heard from you, you've heard from me...*smile* In the spirit of Thanksgiving I am giving thanks! In giving thanks to God, my mind wonders to the people He has placed in my life and also to the ones He has called home.
Ecclesiastes 9:1-12:14 We all must face death. Those who are righteous and wise rest in God's hands... (Thank you God) Work hard, enjoy life, and seek wisdom. Wisdom provides greater assets than power. Although you still face death, you can be comforted to know that those wo follow God will live forever with Him. (Thank you God) Each day we have the honor of sitting down with a book that contains the words of the One who created us. Every day we have the opportunity to let Him give us a thought or two on how to live. (Thank you God) If we don't do what He says, He doesn't burn the book or cancel our subscription. If we disagree with what He says, lightning doesn't split us in half or an angel doesn't mark our names off a Holy list. If we don't understand what He says, He doesn't call us dummies. (Thank you God) In fact, He calls us "His children" and on a different page explains what we don't understand. I'm learning everyday not to take everyday miricales for granted. I'm discovering many things, traffic jams eventually clear up sunsets are for free, I'm learning that people are people and God is God...and except them for who they are...and are not...LOL! I'm learning that if I look...if I open my eyes and observe... there are many reasons to get on my knees and look toward heaven and just say THANK YOU LORD! Look at your remarkable blessings and give God thanks for what you do have...I thank God for you!
Hey,how are you doing? I'm yet holding on...and gone keep on keepin on ....LOL!
Every time I read this chapter God shows me so many different things ....that I can't go into total detail. People already tell me my messages are too long...LOL! Any who...
John 8:1-59
Jesus convinces the Pharisees (Church Leaders...) that God could forgive the most hideous sins. He also tried to convince them of his divine lineage, but they assumed He was demon-possessed or mad. The Pharisees (Church Leaders...) grew angry when Jesus told them that they had fallen out of favor with God.
We must seek God's wisdom to overcome difficult situations in life.
Discerning right from wrong is sometimes easy, sometimes hard. How about those who have made the wrong choices? How do you judge people? The bible says judge not or you'll be judged with the same judgement....have you ever heard the saying, when you point the finger at someone else, you have 3 more pointing back at you.... It is so true...It's funny how we as Saints or Aint's can show compassion for people that are doing the things we have done or are doing (that's wrong).... But the things we wouldn't think about doing we come down on sooooo hard on them... Seek God's wisdom so that you are slow to condemn and quick to show compassion....and be the example we want others to be....
Some times we get so busy taring satan's kingdom down, that we forget to be about building up God's Kingdom......
~MUCH LOVE~ Until next time....Have a blessed week and weekend. Tah...tah...
What's going on? Stay encouraged in the Lord, He's the ONLY way to true happiness!
Acts 3:1-26
Peter and John took every opportunity to proclaim the Good News about Christ, whether it was with the poor disabled man or the Jewish high priest.
Most of us as believers are convinced that it is the pastor's responsibility to bring people in the the church as well as in the kingdom of God. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Scripture is clear on this point. Pastors were given by God to the church to equip the people to do the work...Sermons are not God's primary method for reaching people. People are His method for reaching people. What kind of people? Men and women whose lives and life-styles have been deeply affected by the truths of Scripture, people who have discovered the wonderful Spirit-filled life.
God is looking for imperfect men and women who have learned to walk in the moment-by-moment dependence on the Holy Spirit. Christians who have come to terms with their inadequacies, fears and failures...
God's method for reaching this generation, and every generation, is not preachers and sermons only. It is Christians whose life-styles are empowered and directed by the Holy Spirit. People are the key to reaching people!
Hopefully as we live each day and go to and fro we are drawing more and more people into the kingdom of God...with our behavior, demeanor, attitudes, speech...ect. It's all about how we live after the sermon and service is over, that draws others to God...or push them away....(things to think about)
Have a prosperous weekend and week. ~MUCH LOVE~ Until next time...tah...tah...*smile*
Thank God for you being in my life! Hope you've enjoyed your week! *smile*
At church Sunday a sermon was preached about the tongue that was wonderful, so I was reading more scripture on the subject....I thank God for correction!
James 3:1-18
James described how faith works in everyday life. Everyday speech and actions should correspond with inward faith.....
Each of us have a tongue and voice (of some kind). These instruments of speech can be used destructively or constructively. I can use my tongue to slander, to gripe, to scold, to nag and to quarrel; or I can bring it under the control of God's Spirit and make it and instrument of blessing and praise...Only God can control it, as we yield it to Him.
The tongue can build others up or tear them down. It needs to be controlled.
Let's be contentious to use our tongues to bring joy, peace and happiness in the lives of others. Thank other for their friendship. Encourage those who are struggling. Tell others of your love for them. Most of all, use your words to praise God throughout each day! LOL! That'll keep us out of a lot of trouble....*smile*
Have a blessed weekend & week! ~MUCH LOVE~ Until next time...tah...tah...
Where is God when we hurt? Where is He when sleep won't come? Where is He when we awaken in a hospital bed with pain that won't subside? He's right here! He hung on the cross to prove once and for all, with pierced hands and bloodstained face--that He's here---that He didn't create the hurt, but He came to take it away.
When you hurt, God hurts with you. When no one listens to you, God listens to you, When you whip away years of loneliness or frustration or anguish, in the heaven there's a pierced hand approaching a heavenly face wiping away a tear.
Sometimes storms of life come to teach us that God is in control, that we must lean on Him and learn to be thankful for the richness of His blessings to us.
We should serve God even if there is darkness enveloping our life and even if we don't understand what's happening...even when the circumstances of our life don't make sense: Because He is worthy of praise, because He is GOD!
Praise God, from whom all blessing flow. Praise Him all creatures, here below. Praise Him above Ye heavenly host. Praise Father Son and Holy Ghost! GLORY! HALLELUJAH!
Have a beautiful weekend! ~MUCH LOVE~ Until next time...tah...tah...
