I am called to be a revivalist - which is simply someone who desires to see church and the world set aflame with passion for Him! I desire to see the church step into what she was called to be - a holy, pure, and spotless bride. I desire to see the world fall to their knees in repentance and hunger for righteousness! I desire to see Him answer the world with FIRE! To me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain - all I desire is to live - and die daily, for my Beloved. I really love intercession, the glory, the fire, the prophetic, worship, the Kabod, unusual signs and wonders (oil from heaven, feathers, gemstones, glory dust, ex cetra) and mostly, intimacy with Jesus! Fear has been trying to enter my heart as I look around at the darkness that is attempting to cover the earth. I remember in the 70's thinking, "How much worse can it get?" But I am reminded of Someone named Jesus. He came to bring His light where there is darkness. On the day He died, the darkness was manifested as the sky became black while He was dying for all of us. He dispelled the darkness as it crept into the atmosphere when He was resurrected. Before His crucifixion, He proclaimed, I am the Light of the World. So,as we see darkness rising just remember His Light is greater. His love is purer. His victory is coming. This morning, I saw this verse, and it just lept out-----
Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth, and deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you, and HIS GLORY will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Is 60:1-3
As I was just about to post this, I was reminded of the song, This lttle light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine. I think we should change one word in it. Instead of "little" light, it should be "big" Light. We have the Light of the World living within us. As we allow Him to live through us, millions of huge spotlights are going to help those who are in darkness find the Way, the Truth and the Life, JESUS. And I'm praying this Light will be so bright that it will blind the enemies and send them into confusion.
