Thanks for the comment, much appreciated as ever.
I understand what you mean about the similarity. We're trying to establish a distinctive sound for ourselves, and I suppose a by-product of that is some similar-sounding songs. On that note I'm really looking forward to working with you this summer and getting your input on the finer details of the songs.

Of course, these are just demos, so there's scope for enhancing each song's identity further later.

Oh, it's Last Night that we're doing a jazzy version of ^^

And thanks, I did take great pains to rid the new ones of feedback :P

    Thanks, as usual

It's the fact that you want to that means the most =3

    Wow O_O

We would be indebted to you forever if you would put the word out for us.

And all for some songs we wrote in my bedroom... This all seems slightly incongruous :P

    Thank you x

    I'm saying yes =3

I mean, it's obviously amazing that people have taken to our music the way they have - I mean, the response we've had has far, FAR outstripped anything either of us hoped for - but the fact that you critique the material with a fine-tooth comb is both very helpful and extremely flattering, so thanks (:

Dude, pass it on to whoever you like. The more the better - surely we should be asking you this! :P

    Oh lawd, critique!

Thank you immeasurably for a) listening to our collective musical output and b) having the time to write up what you think (:

I really appreciate your comments, especially your interpretations of the songs - incidentally, Conversation of the Eyes was written about something entirely different :D

Curtain Up was written in a single night of alcohol-fuelled catharsis, and I think that really comes across in the recording. It's probably the closest we've yet come to writing a rock song.

Also, about the guitar thing, I think you have a good idea there. If you listen in the background, I occasionally overdub little licks and solos, but I tend to keep this to a minimum since we can't do it live. But I think that's probably the way forward - I'll have to restring my old acoustic and introduce it to chez - it'd just add another layer of depth to the harmonies and chords.

    Thanks again, always appreciated (:

thanks for your comment, it's really great to see how much people have taken to what essentially started out as a hobby between two close friends!

and special thanks for the compliment, it's taken me years to be able to sing in front of people and is especially encouraging :)
