REVOLUTION OF REAL WOMEN™

REVOLUTION OF REAL WOMEN, LLC™ is a global movement advocating the empowerment of females in reclaiming their freedom of individuality, self-esteem and unique beauty. Where silent compliance once resided must now exist a commanding voice of revolt!

Ever felt like you weren't thin enough, pretty enough, athletic, tall, short, normal, curvy, sexy, smart, wealthy, successful or PERFECT enough? RRW™ serves as an all-seeing eye and a leader in holding media, corporations, and the fashion and entertainment industries accountable for their influences on women. Our REAL Allies Network™ dedicates itself to providing vital information and resources, and serves to speak for the silenced voices of REAL WOMEN™ of every generation, regardless of weight, race, nationality, age, sexual orientation or religion.

We must declare our independence from the controlling forces of big media and corporations. As long as we're being brainwashed into believing that curves should be feared or that wrinkles equate to age without beauty, we will continue to suffer from a distorted sense of self. Addictions, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, perfectionism and self-injury are only a few of the many ways our inner-turmoil is surfacing. We can't afford to wait any longer.

REVOLUTION OF REAL WOMEN™ calls for the complete overhaul of society's unrealistic and detrimental standards placed upon women. The only kind of "perfection" that exists is that which innately resides within each one of us.

We are a REVOLUTION OF REAL WOMEN™. How have you been affected?

    Hi Sweetie,
    A ball is a circle,
    No beginning, no end.
    It keeps us together
    Like Our Circle of Friends.
But the treasure inside for you to see
    is the treasure of friendship
    You've granted to me. ....
     You were on my mind.

I am starting a new project to get word out about the petition I started for schools for abuse victims and survivors called Hope For Healing Hearts Campaign. The goal of Hope For Healing Hearts is to establish schools for victims and survivors of abuse so they can have a safe and healthy environment to learn in to overcome obstacles and challenges they face in every day life.  Our mission is to help them achieve victory over the past and help them rebuild their lives as they get a chance to have a better life than the one they left behind. I'm looking for volunteers who are interested in helping get word out and spread more awareness about abuse.  If you're interested in helping out or would like to know more about it, visit www.risingabove.webs.com.  To view the online petition and add your voice to it, visit http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/schools-for-abuse-survivors-and-victims.  Every signature matters and your voice counts!

Thank you! :)  I think the message is important.  And it isn't until seeing some of the videos like the one by Dove where they show how they alter the young woman's features.  Lighting, make-up etc.  That part I don't matter because I am artistic and love any kind of artistic beauty or celebration of who we are and playing and having fun.  But the distortions like the digital editing are really disturbing and distorts everything.  Talk about illusions!  That is very creepy and scary.  When I have kids some day, if I have daughters definately will want them to know.  I think it must be such an insidious (sp?) thing if you know, how could be even be aware of it?  We don't see what they do behind the scenes to alter the pictures.  We think that is how the girls really look.  I think the fact they enlarged her eyes so big and stretched out her neck.  It is just weird/ creepy/ scary.  It kind of reminds me of those things they used to make ladies wear in another culture to stretch out their necks for the sake of beauty.  Or those shoes they used to make women wear to keep them basically dependant and can not run away.  I am sure we have our own versions of that here ... and perhaps the distortions in our culture is that!

How can we even know it is going on?  Because we are affected on such an emotional or subconscious level.  We see the beautiful phots and want to be like them.  My whole life I thought if I was prettier people would like me more since I was a little girl.  And I am actually pretty to start out with. (not bragging being retrospective.)  but it doesn't seem to matter how you are born and what God gives you.  If you are attractive people can treat you badly.  If you aren't pretty enough you miss job oportunities or others make impressions of you.  Why do we care so much?  How do we remove something so intrenched in our consciousness and culture?  When did appearances become more important than anything else that everything is viewed by this filter?
