HISTORY OF THE REVOLUTION:
Revolution State was founded by Ben P. and Bonnie P. in the fall of the year 2000. In 2003 they contributed two songs to the album Hex Angel: Utopia Dystopia, "Misery", and "Eva". The tracks were well received by fans and critics alike, and IGN.com even praised "Eva", calling it "a quasi-instrumental minimalist piece that is evocative of Coil’s Musick to Play in the Dark". These tracks, as well as the tracks previously written by the band laid the ground work for the Revolution State sound: a blend of elements from dark electro, idm, and power noise that allow for a unique and varied listening experience. In the spring of 2005 Ben and Bonnie formed their noisy ebm project Noizekatt, showcasing Bonnie’s vocals with driving distorted rhythms and aggressive synths. Although Noizekatt was originally a live only project, it soon became an official second project. In June 2006 the Revolution State track “Deny” received recognition through a compilation appearance on Endzeit Bunkertracks Act 2, released by the Belgian Alfa-Matrix label. In August of the same year, Revolution State contributed two amazing remixes for the "Wound" single: "Wound (Legacy of the Revolution)", and "Ghost Regen (Fractured Coils Version)". "Wound" ranked on the Deutsch Alternative Chart’s singles chart for seven weeks and held the 1 position for four weeks. In October 2006 Revolution State contributed an ethereal dance remix of the song "Demon Breeder" to Neikka RPM’s album The Rise of the Thirteenth Serpent. Early in 2007 both Revolution State and Noizekatt signed with the Vendetta Music label, and their first album, the Revolution State vs. Noizekatt split EP, officially became a Vendetta Music release. Currently, Ben and Bonnie are hard at work in the studio, and plan to complete a brand new full length album for each project in 2008. They have also recently worked on new remixes for Necrotek, Experiment Haywire, and Dead Turns Alive, and the Noizekatt track "Scars" will also appear on machineKUNT Record’s first compilation Extreme Women in the Dark Future later this year.
Very interesting and danceable music! Like it a lot... and found something out: Industrial power + female power + female voice = music as p e r f e c t as possible! :-) Love from Anett (Hamburg/Germany)
yayyy ^.^ you but one of my favorite remixes by you up lol megan messaged me and said have u heard rev state new song hehe i heard it months ago when u guys sent me it hehe ^. ^ i love it!
So I have decided to become a blog journalist cyber-revolution. The news on TV is mostly all nonsense and advertisements and it's completely biased towards the status quo because the networks are owned by very wealthy corporations. NBC is even owned by General Electric which makes LOTS of money off defense contracts, and that makes me wonder just how critically they're gonna look at the war. Intelligent people tend to watch TV very little anyways (except perhaps for The Daily show and Adult Swim)...
I've always believed that people who complain should do it better themselves or else shut up... so that is what I am doing.
But it's not all grim, no escape, fire and brimstone here. In DC when I worked 9 shifts a week as a waiter to the point of slight insanity me and the hundred other guys I worked with who had no legally recognized civil rights in this country learned this: In times like these, if you don't laugh, you will fucking die. Like a Chilean Sea Bass.
Check this out and comment if you like. Come back often and if you like what you see share it with people you know.
this is random but if I get to come visit I really plan to do you think you could do my hair for me? I wanted to do like a really visual kei/anime style ^. ^
HELLo... dahhhlinks.. I hope that everything is moving right along in a good direction out that way---I am not going to attending that reunion in August...(aww boohoo)...I start grad school...and I came to this startling realization: really...the only people I liked either didn't graduate with me (like... you guys)..and the majority of everyone else ..I just don't care what is happening with their lives... So..that be how it be...
Looks like you guy are doing well :)... hit me up sometime... lemme know that your pulses are still active and everything!
you're the best!!! =^.^=neow neow I also realized that I think Bonnie is my favorite female industrial vocalist of all the other ones i've heard I dont know why I just think it sounds different and I just love it!! ^. ^
