INSPIRATIONAL PAST
CHADDY’s career started at a young age , as he sang and performed to Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Madonna. He knew all of the words to CCR songs and Pink Floyd, thanks to his classic rock father. Seeing his mother light candles for every Elvis’ birthday made an impact on him. Chaddy often created some kind of show for his friends. Growing up in a small town outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota he always stood out. His kind nature, unique style, ambition, million dollar smile and passionate-enticing blue eyes had everyone instantly in love with him. Everyone called him CHADDY.
“When I look back, yes - I was always the entertainer. Always creating some kind of scene. I wanted to give people, and the audiences something to remember”, recalls CHADDY.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Through an amazing fearless journey he has evolved into a growing global presence. Watching, listening or standing next to Chaddy, you can feel his passionate dream of making audiences happy and feel his positive attitude about our future world. He makes people feel complete, and safe with his energy. All of this is reflected in the words to his original music. From a keyboard for Christmas when he was 7 years old to piano lessons later, CHADDY soon grew out of the keyboard and proved himself worthy of a piano. He carved his future from a hundred year old piano that landed in his living room. From there he grew beyond his talents! He studied with an in home private coach. Chaddy was always the headlining act in recitals. “I always wore interesting outfits and did something to shock the audience at recitals and shows. Anything else would have been too boring” recalls Chaddy. CHADDY also had a very big interest in the choirs. He participated in every event, contest, and talent show. He was so talented in this area, he started conducting the choirs. There were two large choirs of 80 people each and two small choirs of 30. He conducted songs with all of them. As well, he began his private vocal lessons.
“Conducting a choir was a lot like being a producer, you have a goal or feeling in mind for the listener, and you guide them to do it. I loved doing this!” remembers Chaddy.
CHICAGO ENTERTAINMENT ROOTS
CHADDY’s first major stop was Chicago. Completely on his own, with only ambition and curiosity, it was there that he was first exposed to the power of the entertainment business at a live taping of the Jenny Jones Show. Just a young teen, he was so amazed by the television experience, that right after the taping he found himself asking to meet the producer to inquire about a job. The show’s executive producer explained that he would need specific education to work in television and that it would not be possible. But Chaddy still did his best to charm and persuade his way in. He was declined that day, but only to receive a phone call five days later offering him the job.
"I wanted to be a part of the show so bad, I basically begged for the job" claims Chaddy.
He worked for NBC that whole season. This was the beginning in the entertainment business.
HOLLYWOOD VISION
CHADDY grew stronger and hungrier for his dream. He found himself preparing for bigger and better things. His next stop landed him in Hollywood, California. With the enticing eyes, smile and the attitude of a celebrity, he naturally fell into acting. Performing roles on programs such as Ally McBeal, ER, and MTV by day, and living the life of a newborn singer-songwriter by night. He thrived in Los Angeles. It also inspired his first two independent albums - Cloud 9 and Energy Stairs.
NEW YORK PASSION
If Hollywood fueled his vision, then New York City surely deserves rights to fueling his passion. This was his next destination. Thriving in the city, he threw himself into his music, and began production on his third album- 'American Mind'. This time collaborating with other producers, and working in different recording studios. He lived in a dance studio that had a florescent orange door decorated with graffiti. His living room was a large room of hard wood floors and mirrored walls filled with the likes of Japanese Belly Dancers, percussionists, Buddhist meditates, artist and musicians. Constantly surrounded by people from all over the globe.
“Living in New York was one of the most magical times of my life” he recalls.
INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCES
CHADDY has crossed over into Canada to test new international waters, and has been performing and flourishing in Toronto for almost two years. Almost effortlessly, Chaddy has already garnered a following and local repute with a fully equipped show at Circa, Toronto's hottest new nightclub in 2008. He has also graced the stages of The WreckRoom, The Rivoli, and The Courthouse. In between, he branched out internationally with several private and international venues in London, England as well as Le Baron in Paris, France. He has created a multi-media display of entertainment that is spectacularly futuristic – defining the mood for Chaddy’s future pop music genre. Incorporating dancers, singers, instrumentalists, and original video screen backgrounds, audiences are inspired.
MEDIA ATTENTION
Already CHADDY is a fixture in the society pages across North American media and had appearances on some of television's hottest shows. As an artist, CHADDY has always known what he has wanted: to make the music of the future with global recognition.
"I want to influence future mentality, and a future World through my music and image”, shares Chaddy.
