(( revolving radio )) is a 24/7 streaming internet radio station started in January 2001 by justsomegirl. The music reflects her tastes and beliefs which include an appreciaton for the margins, a desire to raise awareness, a committment to community, and a belief in the consciousness-raising power of music.
Most artists fall into these categories however some of the best music defies categorization:
indie rock & pop, punk, dream pop, psychedelic, post-punk, lo-fi, folk, garage, rockabilly, chamber pop, gothic, industrial, alt. country

- Better Selection:
Each playlist contains 18-24 hours of music so listeners can enjoy hours of music without hearing repititions. We also play more songs off each album, not just the "hit single" overplayed elsewhere.
- Extended Information:
The current song's title, artist and album is displayed on the web site (click Refresh to load the current song) and with several of the MP3 players. Listeners who use Player365 can send feedback by voting for the songs they like and dislike. This information is then used to shape future playlists.
- From the Margins:
Many of these artists are barely covered on commercial radio, if at all. In response to this lack of coverage, artists outside the mainstream are given preferential treatment.
- Music of Substance:
Music that provokes thought, raises awareness, questions the status quo, and speaks from the heart and soul is valued above all and promoted whereever possible.
