One of the most sought after bass players in the state. Scottie Rivera is on drums, does everything. He's traveled the world with internationally renowned artist like Eddie Turner and many more.
On the Keyboards is Jim Ayers, a world class musician with years of experience playing with only the best, also an excellent background vocalist. Marc Larson plays Lead guitar, does background vocals, teaches and has worked with some of the worlds best & most well known artist.
These musicians have extensive experience in all forms of music & create a sound that you must hear for yourselves.
Rex Peoples is the leader & Vocalist for the band and has been singing locally and nationally since the age of two. A Colorado Blues Society board member. Teaches Blues in the Schools & Voice. He has sang all forms of music. Gospel, R&B, Jazz & Blues with gospel greats Andrae & Sandra Crouch, local celebrities Hazel Miller, internationally acclaimed Sammy Mayfield, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Corey Harris & John Alex Mason. Rex has been on the same venues along side Buddy Guy, Elvin Bishop, Cyril Neville & Tab Benoit to name a few. Gained national attention as lead vocalist of the African Wind Bands 2005 "MERCY" C.D.

Born in Oklahoma City Okla.
Started singing at two years old. Sang lead and background vocals in Church Choirs and Gospel groups with the James Cleveland singers, Bobby Jones, Andrae & Sandra Crouch until 1986 when he moved to Denver Colorado.
Once in Colo. Sang Pop, Rock, Jazz and R&B with local band celebrities Sammy Mayfield, Hazel Miller, Corey Harris, the 17th Ave Allstars, Laura Newman, MST & Pro entertainment as well as his own band Rex Peoples & Prodigy.
He has performed on the same venues with National acts Bob Margolin, Jim Thackery, Hawkeye Herman, Frankie Lee, Joe Bonamassa, John Alex Mason,Tab Benoit & Cyril Neville to name a few. Lead singer & C0- creator of Afrosippi blues with Dan Treanor and African Wind from 2000 to 2007.
As lead singer of African Winds latest release MERCY.
The c.d. was rated: Best Blues c.d. of the year by Westward Magazine in March 2006 & received National & International recognition. Nominated for best Blues c.d. of the year by the Independant Music Association and also rated 20 in the Top 30 Best Blues c.d.s of the year by Blues Critic Magazine in Dec. 2006.
He plays Tambourine, Percussions and basic Keyboards.
Also a member of the Colo. Blues Society and Blues in the Schools committee where he teaches a Personal History of the Blues, Songwriting & Voice to all ages.
