Music
I'm an artist who needs music to help me create these fantastical worlds of barbarian chicks and bloody hatchets. When I'm working on my more personal artwork, background music and singing always helps my mind reveal deep hidden images from my soul, and the images just seem to flow from my hand....anyways here's the list:
The type of music I listen too really depends on my mood. Here's a list of the totally different and eclectic styles and examples that I listen too:
Old school industral, which I like to call "Oh woe is me goth", like: NIN, Marilyn Manson, Type O Negative, Skinny Puppy, Sisters of Mercy, Gary Numan,Wumpscut, Velvet Acid Christ, The Birthday Massacre, Susie and the Banshees,VNV Nation, Midnight Syndicate, London After Midnight, Bauhaus, The Cruxshadows, The Cure, The Dresden Dolls, Faith and the Muse, Jack Off Jill, Sisters of Mercy, The Smiths, Voltaire
My "femi-nazi" music like:
Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Bif Naked, Evanescence, Gwen Stefani, Concrete Blonde, Jewel.
My "Places to go, and people to kill" music including: Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Johnny Cash, and Marilyn Manson and NIN fall into the catagory too...
And I'm always looking for new local bands to listen to too.....

Sweeny Todd, StarDust, Death Proof, The Illusionist, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, Children of Men, Silent Hill,
Alien, Aliens, and Predator 1 & 2, Cementary Man, Dangerous Liaisons, Edward Scissorhands, Gypsy 83, Night of the Living Dead, The Princess Bride, Pirates, Mad Max, Sin City, Legend, Dragonslayer, The Crow The Crow: City of Angels, Bram Stoker's Dracula,

Television
I rarely ever get a chance to watch TV, but when I do: The Simpsons, The Family Guy, Robot Chicken, 48 hours, Dirty Jobs, Mythbusters, CSI Las Vegas, any bloody forensics shows, and anything on home design. And reality shows really suck ass.
And I'm going to be on the History Channel, on a show about Vampires in New York City...read my blog to find out more...
Books
It seems I only have time to read comics anymore so......Dawn, Poison Elves, Batman, Conan, Evil Ernie, Fables...and anything else that catches my eye as good artwork and good storytelling.

Composed and created in a hot attic, somewhere in Reading P.A, during the Summer of 2009. Tortured In Toyland independently produces a series of experimental industrial rock instrumentals.
Many of the instrumental notational concepts were created months before the band embraced the industrial style of music. Those concepts, along with exploration of all the new controls associated with digital music, opened a realm of musical expression and clarity that could only be showcased as instrumentals.
Far from your grand-daddy instrumental radio classics, these tracks wreak of Tortured In Toyland's distinct aroma.
Note: This album is best when served with a plate of charred boar. Get our new independently released CD titled "InstruMentals" only $15.96 + S&H Product
