En el año del 2002 en Xalapa, Veracruz, México y después de trabajar juntos
durante tres años con la convicción de expresar sus vivencias por medio de
la música latina fusionada con ritmos del mundo, se consolida el grupo REY
MALACOPA.
Sección de metales, set de percusiones, guitarras, bajo, voces y efectos de
audio conforman esta agrupación, que a lo largo de estos años de actividad
artística, ha realizado numerosas presentaciones en radio y televisión, así
como en distintos foros públicos y privados de la República Mexicana,
obteniendo en cada escenario una buena aceptación y el reconocimiento del
público.
Al mismo tiempo, con gran esfuerzo, se da la oportunidad de producir y
difundir de manera independiente su primer demo, como un medio para dar a
conocer y compartir su propuesta musical. Dicho material se divulga
actualmente dentro y fuera del país.
En el presente, la banda continúa participando en diferentes festivales del
territorio nacional, se encuentra preparando su primer disco de larga
duración y seleccionando material para una segunda producción.

ENGLISH
Rey Malacopa was created in the year of 2002 in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. Its members had already been working together for more than three years with the will to express their experiences through Latin music fusioned with different rhythms from around the world. A horn section, a set of percussions, two guitars, bass, voices and audio effects form this band.
In 7 years of artistic activity, the band has had the opportunity to perform in radio, TV programs, public and private forums around the country; always getting the best response from the audience.
In 2004, with much effort, Rey Malacopa gets the opportunity to produce and release its first demo, being this the mean to show and share its proposal. This material is currently being promoted not only in Mexico but also overseas.
At the moment, Rey Malacopa continues performing in different music festivals inside Mexico, preparing what will be its first album and selecting material for its second demo.

En 2002 à Xalapa, capitale de létat de Veracruz au Mexique, se forme le groupe REY MALACOPA. Après avoir travaillé ensemble durant trois ans, les membres évoluent avec la conviction dexprimer leurs expériences à travers une musique latine qui se fusionne à dautres styles de musique du monde.
Composée dune section de cuivres, de percutions, de guitares, dune basse, de chanteurs et deffets audio, la formation a offert plusieurs prestations depuis le début de ses activités artistiques, que ce soit à la radio, à la télévision ou dans divers évènements culturels, privés ou publics et ce, à travers tout le Mexique. Sur chaque scènes, le groupe reçut un accueil chaleureux et la reconnaissance du public.
De plus, le groupe réussit, après de grands efforts, à produire et diffuser de manière indépendante son premier démo, afin de partager et promouvoir son potentiel musical. Le dit matériel est présentement distribué à travers le pays comme à létranger.
Actuellement, le groupe continue de participer à différents festivals du territoire national et prépare son premier disque longue durée, tout en commençant déjà à sélectionner le matériel qui fera partie de la deuxième production.
