Rezophonic è molto più che un normale progetto discografico.
Nato da un'idea di Mario Riso, batterista (praticamente da sempre)
e uomo di televisione nel tempo libero, Rezophonic nasce per festeggiare
i 20 anni di carriera artistica e di vita dedicata alla musica...
Una vita dedicata principalmente alla musica stessa,
al rock alternative e naturalmente al metal, dichiara Mario.
In questi anni Mario ha collaborato con i migliori musicisti del panorama
musicale italiano e internazionale, ha registrato un centinaio di album
e ha suonato in un migliaio di concerti live.
Per la prima volta, a coronamento di tanti anni di vita passati sui palchi,
negli studi e nelle sale prova, Mario scrive 12 brani propri
e con il supporto del grande amico e produttore Marco Trentacoste,
decide di invitare tutti gli artisti, gli amici, i colleghi che lo hanno accompagnato in questo lungo e avventuroso viaggio.
I partecipanti al progetto sono stati invitati a donare un frammento
della propria arte e lasciare una testimonianza della propria amicizia,
vero comune denominatore di tutte le collaborazioni intercorse negli anni.
L'adesione al progetto è stata così grande e sentita che Mario Riso, ha voluto fare di Rezophonic un progetto ancora più ambizioso. Tutto il ricavato della vendita di questo disco andrà a sostenere il progetto idrico di AMREF, (Fondazione Africana per la medicina e la ricerca) che ha come scopo la realizzazione di pozzi d'acqua con il coinvolgimento delle popolazioni locali.
Mario collabora con l'associazione da tempo grazie alla Nazionale Artisti TV
e per questo, dopo il suo secondo viaggio in Kenya,
l'incontro diretto con i responsabili di AMREF Italia e Kenya
ed aver visto l'EFFETTIVA importanza di questo progetto
(avvengono seri controlli affinche' il denaro raccolto sia investito
nella giusta causa e non sperperato altrove senza arrivare all'obiettivo),
ha scelto di donare tutti i ricavi derivanti dalla vendita di Rezophonic
contribuendo attivamente alla costruzione di pozzi e pompe di trazione in una delle regioni più aride dell'est africa, il Kajiado ai confini fra Kenia e Tanzania.

MARIO RISO introduces an exclusive musical project in support of the
AMREF project in Kenya to bring water to African children.
Rezophonic is much more than a conventional musical project. It is
the brainchild of Mario Riso, a drummer all his life and
television man in his spare time. Rezophonic celebrates 20 years
of his musical carreer and musical life... A life devoted to music
itself, to alternative rock and obviously to metal, as Mario says.
During these 20 years Mario has collaborated with the best Italian and
international musicians, playing on roughly 100 albums and 1000 live
concerts.
For the first time, as the crowning achievement of so many years spent on
the road, in recording studios and in rehearsal rooms, Mario
writes 12 songs of his own and, supported by longtime friend and producer
Marco Trentacoste, is joined by all the artists, friends and
colleagues that have accompanied him throughout his adventurous
journey. All the people who took part in the project were invited to
contribute a piece of their art and leave a sign of their
friendship, true common denominator of all the work done together over the years.
Participation was so huge and heartfelt that Mario Riso has chosen to turn
Rezophonic into an even more ambitious project. All the proceeds
from the sale of this record will go to AMREF (African Medical and
Research Foundation) in support of the project to bring water to
African children by building wells with the aid of the local population.
Mario's been collaborating with the association for a long time now
thanks to the Italian TV Artists football team. During his second
trip to Kenya, where he met with AMREF Italia Italy and AMREF Italia Kenya
managers, he understood the real importance of this project.
Thorough audits are performed to ensure that the money
collected is invested in the cause and not lost along the way before
reaching its target. All the proceeds from the sale of the
Rezophonic record will be invested in the construction of wells and
extraction pumps in one of Africa's driest regions, the Kajiado,
on the border between Kenya and Tanzania.
