my name is rfk heise. i write songs and have for a longtime. i used to play in a band called system and station for seven years. i wrote most all of those songs. i am in a band called protest hill as well and me and my friend Palmer Cloud write those songs together. these songs are about minimalism or as minimal as I can make anything. Most songs are pretty mellow sleepy time stuff that doesn't take alot of energy to listen to, which is the point. in system and station it was mostly huge guitars and big epic bridges with alot of parts, which was the point and I loved it! I still play the big rock in Protest Hill with P Dawg himself but with this "solo" material I can use alot of strange instrumentation and can experiment with sound and melody. I hope you like it but if not it won't dirty my hammock. the four songs here are demos I did in my basement with my buddy Seth Larson helping with production. these are demos but there is a full length record coming out in the future sometime.
the lights go down in the junior high gym, and as you akwardly hold your "girlfriend" the music starts, power ballads and sweaty palms....
