Rubber Gloves is a cement factory turned live music venue, bar, vintage arcade and rehearsal studios. We opened our doors in April 1997 simply renting rehearsal rooms for local bands in Denton. Following the closing of The Argo, Rubber Gloves stepped up and filled the need of a live music venue in the college town home to the University of North Texas. The first show was a benefit concert featuring Denton locals, The Sillies, in June 1997. Since then, we've hosted shows from all of Denton's finest, as well as the likes of (watch your toes!)
