    I spend a lot of time taking pictures... lots of pictures... THOUSANDS of pictures. For years I've secretly wanted to be a combat photographer but there's something about having a family that makes being shot at in a third world country seem a little less appealing.

    I also go to Austin on a pretty regular basis. It feels like home which is strange since I've never really lived there (sleeping on a sofa for a few weeks doesn't count, right?). Whenever I visit, I ususally spend the better part of the trip rock climbing at the Greenbelt, Bull Creek, and Reimers Ranch.

    I used to surf and cycle regularly but these days my 6'8" Rusty and my Cannondale Super V just take up space and add character to my home. I just bought a new wetsuit because I thought it might inspire me to get down to South Padre Island more often. It isn't working.

About me:

I run a website called rgvlive.com where my staff of Hooters girls/photographers (i'm not making this up) post club pictures and random bits of information that might loosely (very loosely) be referred to as photojournalism. It's probably closer to marketing really, but who cares? We get to go clubbing for free.

This often leads to the misconception that all I do is party every freakin' day. And if by party, you mean sitting behind a desk drinking Monster Energy while absorbing radiation from a 19" monitor and the cell phone permanently attached to my ear, well then yes. Every day is a freakin' party.

But if you mean socializing, drinking, club hopping, and in general, having a good time, then no. I do not party every freakin' day.

In fact I rarely go out at all (please refer to paragraph two), but when I do, I might drop into Yacht Club, Moonbeans, or whatever event is going off.

The rest of the time you can probably find me at home developing Carpal-Tunnel Syndrome or at one of many all-you-can-eat buffets.

Sometimes I even sleep.
