Writing about Rheanna Downey is difficult because there’s no big event to point out--she has not sold out stadiums or opened for U-2. It’s also difficult because Rheanna is a friend of mine and those who haven’t heard her think I’m exaggerating when I say that hers is my favorite female voice. Rheanna will take you on a ride to places in the heart that you may have forgotten about, or never even visited before. Catch her in a small coffee shop now, say you discovered her when… it won’t be the same when you’re in the nosebleed section and she’s opening for U-2.
