Rhetorica este o trupa proiect formata in 1997, din componenti ai doua formatii, Dirty Shirt si Legion, cu ocazia RockFest Seini (festival organizat tot de membrii trupelor aminitite). Publicul a apreciat prestatia trupei, fapt ce a condus la ideea de continuare a proiectului. Au urmat, intre 1997-1999, mai multe participari la concerte si festivaluri-concurs din tara, iar recompensele juriilor nu s-au lasat asteptate. Insa plecarea in strainatate a mai multor componenti a determinat stagnarea acestei trupe-proiect. In vara anului 2004, Rhetorica s-a reunit “din patru zari” si s-a trecut la inregistrarea albumului de debut intitulat “Ganduri”, care a iesit pe piata la inceputul anului 2005. Acest album a fost urmat de un mic turneu de lansare in Romania, Franta si Belgia.
Rhetorica is a 1997 project, made up by the members of two bands: Dirty Shirt and Legion. The band was made up for the opening of Rock Fest Seini 1997, a festival organized by the two original bands. The success Rhetorica had with the public determined us to continue this project which became, with time, a band in itself. Between 1997 and 1999 Rhetorica performed in several national concerts and festivals, receiving a considerable number of awards. The band has ceased its activity short after due to personal matters. In 2004 the members of Rhetorica find each other again in order to record their first album, “Ganduri” (Thoughts) released in Ferbruary 2005 and followed by several live performances in Romania, France and Belgium.

Die männliche Stimme, die weibliche Stimme, die Chöre – alles befindet sich höhentechnisch gesehen im dezenten Mittelmaß. Gitarrenriffs gibt es gelegentlich, auch mal ein Latino-Solo, mit Effekten hält man sich weitgehend zurück, die Songs sind überwiegend im mäßigen Tempo gehalten, trotzdem immer schnell genug um als tanzbar durchzugehen, alles ist in gewisser Weise von Pop durchsetzt, ohne jedoch klebrig zu wirken, Keyboards werden nicht gewichst, sondern zum Teppichverlegen verwendet, Gesangsmelodien werden von den Instrumenten übernommen und umgekehrt, alles greift in einem fortwährenden erhabenen Fluss ineinander, die rumänischen Texte versteht eh niemand (notfalls finden sich auf der Homepage Übersetzungen) und um das Glück perfekt zu machen gibt es auch zwischen den einzelnen Kapiteln/Tracks keine harten Übergänge, da man es hier im Prinzip mit einer einzigen zusammenhängenden Komposition zu tun hat.“ – Metal.de
