Ecclectic style...but, if I have to pick favorites: I LOVE THE 80s !!! Also, put me on the Broadway Show Tunes Geek Squad. At present, my favorite is the soundtrack from the musical, WICKED. Oldies, classic rock, top-40 pop, jazz....some country, some alt rock, some classical.
Movies
Almost anything....my husband calls me a "movie slut". I even watch all the bonus features on dvds, including watching the film again with the audio commentary! I'm such a geek. Some favs: Amadeus, Working Girl, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Star Wars (eps. 4,5,6), SERENITY, Gone with the Wind, Wizard of Oz, Breakfast Club...too many to list.
Television
No. 1 Guilty Pleasure: DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. FIREFLY..God, I miss it. Such a kick-ass, innovative show. FARSCAPE...another victim of unjust cancellation. BOSTON LEGAL, UGLY BETTY, 4400, SNL, STAR TREK(all of them !), SOPRANOS, SEX AND THE CITY, anything on TLC or Food Network. And, due to my child, the TV is frequently tuned in to Nickelodeon, the Disney Channel, and Cartoon Network...I've been known to be caught watching.
Books
Who has time to read? What, with all that TV to watch. I am the poster child for library late fees. I loved "Wicked..the Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West", and it's sequel, "Son of a Witch" by Gregory Maguire. (Currently reading his "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister"). I finally finished "Monster", by Frank Peretti. Awesome novel...of course, another contributing course to the library fund (in late fees). I recently read "The Association" by Bentley Little...creepy and graphic. (I hope none of you live in a gated community...you'll think twice after reading this.) Lemony Snicket's "a Series of Unfortunate Events" (I am up to book 9). The Chronicles of Narnia (I've read all 7 books). Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich. Goldy Bear (sluthing caterer) novels by Diane Mott Davidson. Anything by Lisa Scottoline, James Patterson, J.D. Robb, Kathy Reichs.
On occasion, I've been seen reading a screenplay or two.

I am a working actress based out of Columbus, OH. I've done a commercial or two, appeared in independent films, and most recently returned to live theatre, which I absolutely ADORE ! There's nothing like doin' it on stage... This past October I performed in a lead role in Noel Coward's "BLITHE SPIRIT", a production of The Club Theatre Co. Although ACTING and singing are my first loves, occasionally I've been known to dabble in writing, producing, or doing makeup. I enjoy the whole independent filmmaking world as well and aspire to be a filmmaker when I grow up. Someday, with a little perseverance (and a lot of help from my collegues), I may actually crank out a little film. When I do, it'll be presented as a production of
Kinetic Art Films. Just watch for the windchimes...then you'll know it's by me !

Additionally, since NETWORKING is KEY in the indie filmmaking industry, I actively attend a couple local networking venues such as the Columbus chapter of INDIE CLUB and M.O.F.A. (Mid-Ohio Filmmakers Assoc.), which are both FREE monthly gatherings of local independent filmmakers, directors, producers, cinematographers, actors, writers, musicians, and other awesome talents who contribute their invaluable expertise to the craft.

On a Personal Note, I'm a very social person, so it stands to reason that I love making new friends from all over the globe. When I find the time, I read...otherwise, I watch entirely too much TV and tons of movies. In fact, I've been called a "movie slut" because I'll watch almost anything...so it's probably a good thing that I'm so involved with filmmaking (I gotta do my "research", right?). Occasionally, I'll actually spend time with my friends and family. If I'm lucky, our time together will be "quality" and we'll get to enjoy those great outdoor activities that I love, like camping, swimming, or horseback-riding.
I have a LOT of vices: Apple Martinis, Hot Chai tea lattes, full body massages, eBay, jewelry-making, the Sci-Fi Channel, Food Network, and....
NHL HOCKEY !!!
I kinda have a 'thing' for Goalies, especially. I gotta hand it to the guy who can do the splits with all that gear on, putting his rocks at risk. And every so often, he takes one for the team...OUCH ! Of course, living in Columbus, I am loyal to the BLUE JACKETS, but I also love Detroit, Edmonton, Toronto, Chicago, among others.
I also follow a little MLB & NFL, namely: Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox; Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
