RH Reality Check is an online community and publication serving individuals and organizations committed to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights.
RH Reality Check is guided by the issues and recommendations identified in the Program of Action agreed on at the International Conference on Population and Development at Cairo in 1994. Protection is our watchword – we are contributing to the global effort to empower people with the information, services and leadership they need to safeguard their sexual and reproductive health and rights and to guard against false attacks and misinformation. RH Reality Check exists as a resource for evidence-based information, provocative commentary, and interactive dialogue.
My name is Dawna and I am a monthly contributor to RH Reality Check as well as the new RHRC MySpace page moderator. Please check out the RHRC blog at
www.RHRealityCheck.org and let us know what you think!
Who I'd like to meet: 1. You! Registering as a member of RH Reality Check opens up the opportunity to comment on articles, hear from us through email and share your thoughts in other ways. We want to hear from you and be able to keep in touch!
2. Your friends! Tell your friends who are also interested in speaking up to counter the misinformation coming from the oppositon and encourage them to share their ideas with us—the more voices in this conversation, the better!
3. Bloggers! Do you regularly blog on these issues on another site? We’d love to include your blog posts here, or invite you to blog with us too as a guest blogger. The blogosphere is big and we’re trying to find the most insightful, fun and informed progressive people interested in this important work. Please let me know if this sounds interesting to you.
4. Organizations! We celebrate the work of the outstanding network of organizations working in the field—our mission is to underscore and complement this work, not duplicate it. We seek to highlight the work of leading organizations in this field and to call attention to academic, policy and field successes. We urge readers to learn more about these wonderful organizations and to get involved in them.
Thank you for your friendship and support! All our best, Songs For Choice -- is a benefit compilation uniting artists from all over the world in support of the preservation of justice and women's rights, Songs For Choice spans the spectrum of progressive music. The result is a compilation that not only features many of today’s most intriguing artists, it's also a call to action...

We need your help to make this a wonderful success! We are asking for donations of items you no longer need that could bring in some much needed dough to the abortion fund. I have high hopes for this fundraiser and hope you can help!
We will begin listing items and have everything up by 21st, so items would need to be sent this week to our local fund so we can photograph them and get descriptions ready.
Ideas:
* collectibles you no longer care about (star wars toys, barbies, my little ponies, pokemon cards, care bears, etc)
* cds, records
* old cell phones! you wouldn't believe how much they can bring
* dvds, game cartridges
* handmade goods/crafts/jewelry
Contact us by private message for our address and more information, but remember that this is timely and items have to be in by this weekend.
We will also be looking for you folks to bid on the items and give you rmoney to a good cause once this fundraiser gets kicked off next week!
:::PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING AT THIS CRUCIAL TIME:::
Equal Access Fund continues to seek "seed money" donations from individual donors in order to grow our fund to help more women reach justice by funding their right to choose.
As the only abortion fund in Tennessee, we are receiving FAR more requests for assistance than we can meet.
Your contributions are critical to this work. Your donation will be used to provide direct, life-changing assistance to women who want or need an abortion but don't have the financial resources to pay for it.
HOW TO DONATE ONLINE:
Use the address equalaccessfund@gmail.com to send a PAYPAL donation.
PayPal is one of the safest ways to send money online, and they never share your financial or private information.
Check out our blog for
