I love to exercise, read, try new foods. I really like chocolate. Too much. I enjoy going to conventions and meeting my fans. I enjoy nights at home playing videogames and watching movies. I love the rain.
Music
Angsty female singers and 90s hair bands. I love jazz. I enjoy the obscure. And oh how I heart Gavin DeGraw.
Movies
Anything girly or scary. I could definitely watch a bloody horror film, or something about ballet. Or both, if we're having a film festival.
Television
What don't I love about TV? LOST, House, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, Superjail. Reality shows (gasp!). Why do I care who Paris Hilton picks as her new BFF? I can't even tell you.
Books
I read so much. I'm currently on the self-help kick, although I love horror novels and the occassional chick lit. I enjoy Gary Braunbeck, Bentley Little, Richard Laymon. I recently read "The Starter Wife" and must admit, I liked it!! My favorite book of all time is Huxley's "Brave New World".
Heroes
The people who help me achieve my goals. Want to talk to them? Or me?
Union Entertainment - 310.274.7040 (for game, comic, television, and film work)
SCGLit - 212.679.8686 (for literary works)
The Garis Agency - 213.233.0207 (want to have me on your show? Talk about gaming, writing, or other?)

I’ve been an active writer since the age of 18, when my first screenplay about an undiscovered heroine of the American Revolution was optioned. It was a great start.
From there I realized how awesome videogames are. I wrote the back story for Lara Croft, one of the most beloved game characters of all time. Lara still rocks my world, and I love when fans come up at Comic-Con and still call me “that Tombraider girl.” I currently write for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii consoles.
I’ve also penned segments for over 30 television shows on FOX, ABC Family, Discovery, Travel, HGTV – lots more. I love TV SO much – I am totally addicted, and happy for it.
I write shorts as well, including the critically acclaimed horror serial “Play Things” which first appeared in Black October Magazine. I love serial fiction, and think it is truly a lost art. I also write non-fiction articles, like “Writing in Your 20s” for Writers Digest.
I love comics and write for them, too. I wrote “Demons of Mercy” for Marvel (and Xbox 360) and now I’m a part of “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” for Devils Due (based on the upcoming Starz television series).
Aside from this, I write books. My first novel, Daniel's Veil, debuted at #1 on Amazon's Ghost Top Sellers list. The paranormal fiction also received acclaim in the Wall Street Journal as a "fascinating and enthralling paranormal tale". I am currently writing a new trilogy of books for my readers.
So, that’s me. I love my fans, I love my work, and I love you for reading this. And cupcakes. I do love cupcakes.
I'd like to meet those who have made it and remain humble. I'd like to meet people who are positive, even in the face of adversity. Those who treat people well, no matter how they are treated by others. Those who appreciate life, and all it offers on a daily basis.

Melinda Lightfoot, a preschool teacher with an unusual ability to flit in and out of fairy tales, never thought she would get into trouble...
...until the Fairy Tale Police arrest her while she is in Beauty and the Beast. They offer her a deal: Find Beauty, who left the story when Melinda trespassed into it, or be charged with the ultimate crime -- Fairy Tale Killer. If that's not bad enough the Beast tags along in search of his true love, and Melinda starts falling for the fairy tale prince. She must choose between doing the right thing and having her own happily ever after.

Yes, everybody remember tomorrow to do your part to reduce the evergrowing population of turkeys. And don't forget, unlike zombies, removing the head isn't enough... you have to stuff them, cook them and eat them or they'll just keep coming back!

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my new erotic horror novel THE 13TH is now in stores everywhere! I hope you'll check out this debauched and demonic horror ride!
There's even a website devoted just to the book, with an interactive map of the places and characters at www.the13th-horror.com.
Edward Lee called THE 13TH "A double-barreled shotgun blast of macabre entertainment -- an expert amalgamation of grotesquerie, eroticism, mystery, and pitch-black occult horror that no fan of the genre can miss."
And Gary A. Braunbeck said, "John Everson's The 13th is the first out-and-out horror novel in a long while to actually scare the **** out of me while reading it. It's stylish, extremely well-written, filled with richly-drawn characterizations, and boasts a labyrinthine plot worthy of Umberto Eco. Trust me -- this one will fry your nerves and break your heart."
WISHING YOU A WONDERFUL WINTER SOLSTICE
