MySpace a place for friends

Self confessed quirky guy, living in fairly quirky home (see photos) in rural Lincolnshire. I have diverse interests, an inquisitive mind and two kids still at school. Widowed a long while back.

I'm a strong believer in co-operation above competition, openness above smoke screens, laws above scammers.

Career paths have veered quite widely from being a professional aquarist to many years in industrial measurement and control systems and more recently into selling all kinds of made to measure blinds.

I have an interest in science and technology, wildlife, sports, classic cars, restoration of old buildings.

As time and mood permits I play some guitar, write a little, use the computers to more purposeful effect. I may post a blog or bulletin here from time to time when feeling suitably inspired - comments are welcomed (but without the expletives please, lol).

I enjoy many kinds of music, will listen to anything good that suits my mood. Like to see live acts as and when, from pub acts or folk clubs to stadium shows. Will usually change the music playing on this page a few times every week.

And who knows, maybe I will eventually get around to recording some of my own songs as has been suggested by a few folk - due warnings will be given in that event! lol. Meanwhile I do post some of my scribbles here in my blog, as well as on other sites - see links below. Other items are being published there quite frequently and range from politically edged to lighthearted items.
