Scheme, at the young age of 13 realized that he had a passion for writing. He spent his early teenage years soaking in the sounds of hip hop music blaring through the speakers of the cars cruising down his neighborhood's of Bucktown and Humbolt Park, in the city of Chicago. This in turn helped guide his passion for writing into a love for music. He spent his teenage years learning how to write lyrics, structure a song, and began tampering with recording music. At the age of 19 he was picked by Panik, of the Molemen, to join the pioneering collective. Scheme spent the next three years under the wings of the Molemen. In this time he has gained an awareness of the music making process, as well as the business aspect of the industry, and has grown as an artist; an opportunity not many young artists are fortunate enough to have. He has recorded his debut album, "For My People", which was released under Molemen Inc. in April of 2006. Scheme is a commodity within the over populated rap game. He speaks from the heart, takes time with his lyrics, and focuses on making great music. His matching work ethic and positive outlook on his future, definitely make this young Hispanic Chicago artist someone to keep an eye on for the years to come. With a new album in the works and a ever growing following, Scheme is on the verge of greatness.
About Myself:
Born and Raised in Chicago (NorthWest Side) (Bucktown, Hermosa, Humbolt Park)/
Most my family out in Texas (I Rep Laredo Texas and Nuevo Laredo Proudly)/
Family comes from Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas (Mexico)/
Ambitious, Go-Getter, Optimistic, Hard Worker, Goal Oriented, Laid Back, Hypered, Humble, Impatiently Patient (meaning I get anxious, but I learned that in life you gotta have patience to get what you want out of it). I represent my City of Chicago. My people out there putting in that work day in and day out. My shorties out there that are trying to figure out this crazy ass world we live in. The 9 to 5er's, The Hustlas, The Mom's and Pop's busting they ass off at work everyday and night. My people looking and working towards a change. Those who see the bigger picture, and those who are in search of it. I represent me, and the many young people out in this world that are just like me. We come from nothing, but we work/hustle/grind our way out of it all and make something of ourselves. Be proud of your block, your hood, your environment, your experiences, but ultimately and most importantly, learn something from it all. Holla at me, hope you enjoy the music, and be safe. Peace
