RhythMen was founded in the year 2003, inspired by some unplugged bonfire sessions. Alex, Mario and Gert, the three founding members, with a completely different music background (busker, punkrocker, headbanger), created their own style of groovy, impulsive dance music. In summer 2005 the first studio album "Shakedelic Infection" was released.
Since the development of the project "RhythMen and Friends" they try to broaden their musical horizon, playing together with different guest-musicans and various instruments. In december 2006 the live DVD "RhythMen and Friends" was produced and their first live CD followed soon.
At the moment the Band is working on new songs & styles for the upcoming live shows and their second live CD was released in Decenber 09.
