Rhythmic Roots brings together the culture and people of New Orleans through a Drum Circle to create positive energy that is both relaxing and reinvigorating. The essential concept of Rhythmic Roots is to bring together pivotal elements of New Orleans musical culture focused around the pulse of the drum.
Starting the Summer of 2006, Rhythmic Roots has brought together the community every other Sunday to celebrate our rhythmic roots.
a professional percussionist leading group efforts with additional guest percussionists each week, a Mardi Gras Indian Tribe, and a Brass Band. Each element comes together to get the crowd moving.
