Tabla Ecstasy is an enthralling display of Indian drumming. Highly intricate rhythmic patterns are set to a repeating melodic time cycle of 16 beats. This masterpiece is the latest group tabla ensemble composed by internationally-renowned Tabla Guru Pandit Divyang Vakil, showcasing the power of the North Indian hand drums - tabla. In a contemporary presentation style, Tabla Ecstasy is a unique anekbandhi that features all audience pleasing facets of modern tabla playing, while carrying the essence and richness of classical tabla playing. Tabla Ecstasy is the latest tabla ensemble by Pandit Divyang Vakil. It follows his previous works like Tabla Taandav, Tabla Tarkhat, Tabla Upaj, Ardha Taal Chakra and more. .. Composed by Rushi Vakil, son of Pandit Divyang Vakil, the compositions mix the Indian sitar with the African djembe, pop music with raags, Arabic tunes with tabla, creating a global music experience. A native of South Korea, Jin has spent nearly ten years in India undergoing training in not one, but two Indian classical art forms. She learnt Kathak (Lucknow Gharana) and continues to learn tabla under guidance of Pandit Divyang Vakil. As a result of her deep understanding of music and dance, Jin is capable of presenting the various shades of Kathak and effectively communicated the beauty of the dance form even to those who are new to the art.

She has worked with leading Kathak choreographers in India and has performed as a company member and soloist all over India and in Canada, Europe, Korea and the US. ..
