Started as four musicians blending their creativity in informal Recording Sessions at Jahnee's Guardürnoggin studio in Nap-town After the first recording of a jam we knew it was a click. Rhythm Session is a band which fuses Nu-jazz, rock, reggae, funk and every thing in between. Where ever the audience takes us. most of their music is improvisational and some of the music and lyrics are made up on the spot. the band also splashes in cover songs We creatively interact with the audience it is all about catching the moment and creating a musical experience. All member of the group are multi instrumentalist so you might never know who is playing what.
Those first recordings the original jam sessions are totally improvisational you know what i am talking about one two three go first take. Every track you hear on the
CD Corn Fusion is straight as they were. Ok so I used compression, Eq's and Efx.there were no over dubs no tricks all 100% real music the kind that is made between man and the maker where you tap into the oneness that flows from the universe and it exudes thru the fingers, hands, feet, voice and soul. We have over 9 hours of recordings from those first Rhythm Sessions we will make some more of these recordings available but we don't want to overwhelm people so we will release them a little at a time
We are in the process of recording a traditional c.d. where we have songs but improvisation will still be at the heart of the music at our live performances
