When I started belly dancing, I had no formal dance training whatsoever, but I fell in love with it immediately! I am well versed and experienced in the areas of Egyptian, Lebanese, Turkish and Spanish-Arabian styles, with a growing interests in the area of American Tribal Style.

Who I'd like to meet:

Well, since Mata Hari (did she really do it?!) and "Little Egypt" (so misrepresented) are out of the question, let's move on to the here and now.

I would love to meet other dancers, musicians, artists and anyone else with an interest in the art of belly dance. Whether it is traditional or contemporary makes no difference, as I am interested in all different styles of the dance and music.

My all time favorites are too many to list, as I find new and amazing dancers every day, but some of my idols are:
Marina Darowish, Viktoriya, Suhaila, Aubre, Delilah (of Visionary Dance), Ansuya Rathor, Rachel Brice, Kami Liddle, Tempest and Nourhan Sharif, just to name a few...

The same is true of musicians with whom I would love to work. I would love to have the opportunity to dance to the live music of Carvin Knowles, Corvus Corax, Mario Kirlis, Oojami, Naked Rhythms, Djinn, Raquy and the Cavemen and compositions by both Issam Houshan and Solace that are too numerous to mention.
