Mega stuff happening in my life, all at the same time.
I haven't even checked my "Myspace" in ages !!!
The Janis tour 2010 seems to be gaining momentum.
I'm fighting for visitation with my x
Sebastian turns 12 on Tues !? Where does the time go ???
Along with the world wide financial crises, I am fighting to keep my job that I have had for the last 15 years. It seems like everyone I know is "scraping" to make ends meet.
Ugly, and I'm convinced that it will get worse before it gets better.
I thank God that I made the decision to move to Denmark...I can't imagine what it might be for me if I was living in the States. I am protected, in a big way, by the strong union that I am in. Not 100%, but by any standards in the US, probably stronger than even the strongest unions in the States.
Sometimes, I feel really lucky in the decisions I have made.
All the time, I feel really fortunate for the friendships I have forged.
You are at the top of that list...Thank you for all you are.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE AD FROM STEVIE BLUES........I HOPE THAT MY NEW BAND WILL BE OUT SOON TO PLAY THE SALEM AREA.........I PLAY ALOT OF ROCKIN BLUES ..........SRV,HENDRIX,ZZ TOP,ETC.........I WILL HAVE NEW BAND PICS UP SOON .........THANK YOU AGAIN FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR THE AD....... STEVIE BLUES
We have got a couple of songs finished called Man Is Sick and Son Of God; you can listen and download them now from - http://exileparade.bandcamp.com. There is also an option that allows you to even pick the format you wish to download them in from high quality mp3 to loseless AAC files.
Please feel free to download the songs and let us know what you think - you can download them for free but there is also an option to make a donation of however much you want to the Exile Parade fund - if you do make a donation then we are eternally grateful and the money will go towards paying for more recordings and touring - if you do not want to pay then we still love you anyway!
We will be back in the studio again in a couple of weeks and of course we will make them available to everyone online.
Got a Major response from Tina in Seattle. She is interested and wants to check the show out... Bad timing though. Her mom is having MAJOR surgury this weekend. She requested Phaces sites info and of course I replied that they are easily accessed. I also sent her your Phaces.com email addy and told her that anything she could do to help "launch" Phaces on the Seattle music scean would be greatly appreciated. I also asked her for some feedback on the music. I have had her as a friend for a few years now on myspace and she's been on my Christmas card list for the past couple of years. She ALWAYS responds to my correspondence and I am sure that she is sincere and an overall great person.
Have you checked her site out yet? It is Really, Really awesome !!! One of my favorites to visit. She has incredible insight into the connection between music and the soul...
Get back to me soon and even include a tel. no.....I lost it a while ago and with all the minutes I get for a $20 phone card we could have a good conversation every once and a while ?!? legacy@webspeed.dk lol
Hope to hear from you soon. Please let me know if I'm stepping on toes or you want me to back off. I just see an opprotunity and thought I would jump on it. Feel free to tell me to jump in a lake if thats what you think !!! :oD
Twas nice finally spending some quality 'Westside break time' with YOU, Jesse and the gang. We are all a family of fragments...of the Salem scene, passing the same glass device on a warm Oregon summer night.
Hey Sweetum's !!! Can you believe after 3 years and not since I've seen him face to face in 06, I got a "comment" from Mike !!!! It wasn't nice and it wasn't Mike talking but he did bring up a point that I would like to address...
How about a "BANNER" for Phaces... With a click into Phaces territory ???
Wacked out as he is....still got a point !?!?
I hope that he gets the help that he needs...He is such an AWESOME talent and his children deserve a father that is in touch with reality.
Hope you had a great 4th !!! For me my real holiday starts on the 8th with James Taylor at TIVOLI in Copenhagen !!! ;-D
Hey Babe, I'll get back to you lickity split with a 4th tribute,,,but I have to ask if there is a "banner" that I can post for Phaces ???
All this because I got a Lovely ?!? "comment" from Turk.....First peep I have heard from him since we sat down together and layed some tracks in '06. All I got was "Fuck You Chris!" for not "endorsing" Phaces.... So I had to look at that hard, and try to find out where he is coming from. I have to agree that I maybe don't have the "proper" endorsements on my site so I'm here and now trying to rectify this oversite....
Can you help me with this...Banner or something RAWKIN that I can put on my site to "endorse" PHACES ???
Thanks for the add! We appreciate the support. Check out our demo for a song called “Saturnine”. It’s a glimpse of our darker sound, which of course finds perfect balance with our lighter pop side.
