I'm Ria Bright, a singer-songwriter from Manchester.
Hope you'll check out some of my tunes. If you do, don't be fooled by the nice girly folky songs on this site, as my live stuff seriously kicks ass! I love acoustic punk, & they don't call me the arsy old bag for nothing!
I also run SHOWCASE GIGS, for original bands & singer-songwriters - "RIA'S RIOTS & REBELS CLUB." These give artists who may be struggling for gigs an opportunity to be heard, without the pressure from promoters nagging them to bring 50 people, or "pay to play." I'm NOT a promoter! I fund these gigs myself- I don't get paid , & don't charge admission, so can't pay acts. ( unless you can guarantee to bring a lot of people.)

That cat is Toggle - he's just turned 1 year old. Got another 2 cats - a black called Benson and a Tortie/white named Narla. I'm gonna get tickets for Crimea as soon as they come out! Haven't seen them in Manchester before! How do you know them? xx
