The Rialto Square Theatre has long attracted celebrity headliners to their stage. Offering concerts, comedy, Broadway, dance and theatre, the Rialto ensures you can always find the entertainment you are looking for. The historic theatre originally opened in May of 1926 and is a stunning reflection of Greek, Roman, and Byzantine architecture. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Rialto has been called one of the ten most beautiful theatres in the nation. The Rialto serves Joliet and the greater Will County area as a performing arts center and hosts or presents nearly one hundred events per year from entertainment, weddings & receptions to tours, seminars and business expos. Public and private tours are available.
