I am an aspiring R&B singer/songwriter from Philadelphia. I have always had a love for music. All throughout my life I have always been in involved in music. Growing up I used to listen to and tape hip-hop shows off the radio and listen to them over and over again. I was also involved in different choirs in school as well as in college. I have also performed at open mic nights in Philadelphia (Warmdaddy's Restaurant & The Five Spot) as well as in New York City at the Cutting Room in Manhattan. In addition I also participated and was a finalist in an Apollo styled talent show hosted by Miss Jones (now of Hot 97 FM in NYC) when she was a morning radio show host in Philadelphia. In high school I also was involved in a school choir which performed at Carnegie Hall in New York. Starting in June of 2006, one of my dreams finally came true when I began working for the now former talk radio station 1340 WHAT AM in Philadelphia "The Voice of the African-American Community". I was a show producer/board-opp and an occasional co-host with former midday host Albert Butler. I had a great time working there and I learned a lot about the radio industry. My musical tastes include R&B and Hip-Hop as well as gospel. I like all types of hip-hop and R&B music from crunk to conscious. But I am looking for people that I can work with so that I can start an entertainment career of my own. I would like to meet producers, other singers, rappers, managers, actors other songwriters, etc. I guess basically a team of people who are serious about getting into, or who are already into the entertainment industry. I am interested in all facets of the entertainment industry (music, acting, radio, etc.) but music is my first love. As far as acting is concerned, I have been an extra in an independent film and at the 2004 US Open. I also was a promotional model during the 2004 American Idol Tour during a Kellogg's promotional campaign. I was also a promotional model for Cingular Wireless at the University of Delaware.
